Mr. Doria, In response to your Dealer Rater opinion, I would like to begin with explaining the issues of check engine light. First, I had an opportunity to talk with the technician who diagnosed the vehicle in regards to the misfire code. After retrieving the code, the tech removed the spark plugs, performed the cooling system pressure test. We found moisture in #3 and #4 cylinder which is why the computer triggered a misfire code. We also noticed evidence of coolant in #2 cylinder as the spark plug hole had corrosion in it from a result from moisture. It’s possible that your car did not overheat, because although your radiator was not full, there was some coolant in it. Therefore, the coolant was circulating in the engine. The technician did add water to the radiator and the coolant reservoir bottle. The reservoir was empty as it was feeding the radiator. Adding water to the radiator diluted the coolant, however it would have remained green because there was still some coolant in the radiator. Since the coolant reservoir bottle was empty that would explain why it was clear. Next, in response to your oil change and alignment. It is possible that the tech may have spilled some on oil on your exhaust, in which we are more than happy to clean it off for you. I talked to the service consultant regarding the free alignment inspection, and I was told you mentioned to him that you were informed that you needed an alignment as a recommendation from your oil change facility. I know he was asking questions because we would like to know if there were any other issues as to why the alignment was not done. We don’t have any issues doing the free alignment check, but we try to get as much information up front to determine what issues we are up against. Thanks. Jason should not have told me "there is no coolant at all in the radiator" per our phone coversation about 9am that morning. The temp gauge has always be normal as it was. This misinformation, making it sound so bad, is the reason why I okayed further check. Sorry, but I trust my mechanic more than your findings. ALL IS WELL WITH MY CAR, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. Did not have money to do alignment at the oil change place at that time. If you confirmed their findings, I could have had you do it if not for this very unpleasant experience. Can you imagine the stress level you put us thru, coming in for a discounted oil change, and going out being told stories of a head gasket job in the thousands of dollars, needing to tow my car back, when it was perfectly fine upon drop off? You only lost a miniscule customer. God bless.

Mr. Doria, Glad to hear all is well with your vehicle. We had no intention of placing any added stress on you. For that we do apologize. I do not consider any of our customers miniscule. Our customers are who we are. And one is too many to loose. I would personally like to welcome you back in to the dealership and offer you a free oil change anytime within the next year on me. Please ask for me personally (Jim King-Service Manager). Hopefully you will give us the opportunity to earn your trust and confidence back. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss this with me personally please contact me at 925-452-8000.
