No need. I appreciate the thought, but I have already fixed the issue. I plan to sell the truck and purchase new. However, I will not be returning to Eagle River for my new purchase as I am very frustrated with the whole lifetime powertrain issue. One of the only reasons I drove 2-hours to purchase the Ram was for the lifetime powertrain warranty. It is ultimately my fault if I did not read the fine print and was not provided the lifetime powertrain warranty, but I was certainly verbally told that I was receiving it when I purchased the vehicle. Now, to find out that the warranty ended at 100,000 miles was extremely frustrating. I drive an average of 60,000 miles per year for work...so, you can see why the lifetime warranty was a selling point. But that is not what I apparently received and while some of the fault is with me...this dealership should be ashamed with the false advertising or shady purchase tactics where the lifetime powertrain is swapped out for something else. Then again, maybe the definition of lifetime is 100,000 miles and if that is the case, Ram should be ashamed.
