Service Department I purchased a new Hyundai Ionic in May 2017. The manual called for a 3 month service inspection. I called the main dealer number for three days (4 tim I purchased a new Hyundai Ionic in May 2017. The manual called for a 3 month service inspection. I called the main dealer number for three days (4 times) to make the appointment. On each contact I received a recorded message: "we are experiencing heavy calling, leave your number and we will call back." I did not receive a call back! On the 4th try, I was able to talk with someone who said they scheduled service. They scheduled an oil change - not what the manual called for at 3 months. I cancelled this appointment and, out of frustration drove the car into service. They did not inspect or look at the car and told me to return in 6 months. The next day, we started a driving vacation trip. The tire warning light came on when we reached California, requiring an unplanned stop a dealer. More

In for recall service. I would have liked knowing the recall service might take up to 5 hours. I received at least 3 reminders regarding appointment. The gentleman operating the shuttle service was excellent as is every employee there. I also received oil change and car wash at no charge. More
