I initially contacted three VW dealers in the DFW metroplex area and got the initial response on a Passat TDI SEL from all the three. On a followup email Mario was the only one who replied, guess the other dealerships were not interested in my business. Called Mario and setup a time. When we arrived at the dealership Mario was waiting for us. We test drove the Passat TDI SEL and the Touareg. We finally went with the Touareg Lux TDI. In next hour and half we had the finance settled and walked out with the keys to our new SUV. Just one word to sum up our experience at Rusty Wallis Volkswagen -- Fabulous. They treated us with respect and earned our business when other area dealership did not even bother to reply to our followup email. More
Just had my car service by Jeff Fagan. No matter where I live in Texas I plan on making sure all of my Volkswagen's get serviced by him. I feel completely comfortable with knowing my car is taken care of with Jeff. He is great at explaining what needs to be done and the importance of how it effects the car and why particular work would need to be done. He is very personable and approachable about any question you may have about your car. The dealership is lucky to have an individual such as Jeff to help continue the life long relationship a client could have with a dealership. Often times it is the service department that can make or break a deal of what happens after the sale of a car. It also has a lot to do with future purchases at those particular dealership. Every car will have its problems, but is how the service department can and will take the time to not treat the client like another car but as an individual. Thanks Jeff for being professional, honest in your approach to questions I have about my car, and for always taking the time to take care of my car's needs. More

Just wanted to say that I am soooo glad Jeff Fagan is back at this location. He has been my service manager since 2006 and I will continue to buy Volkswagen vehicles just because of his excellent service back at this location. These days in time all anyone cares about is quantity rather than QUALITY service and Jeff defines that "Quality Service" that consumers look for. He has taken such great care of me and my car over the years that I have followed him from Rusty Wallis to Boardwalk and back even though I live in Forney. He does business the right way and the industry needs more individuals like him to run a GREAT COMPANY. He's personable, honest, and takes pride in his job and that's what I look for in a service manager. Not often do I find people out there like him so I am super glad to have him as my service manager!!!! More

Scott was incredibly helpful and patient, and very available to answer our questions in the research phase. When we got to the dealership, Scott was knowledgable and friendly, and very approachable. Definitely made our experience a good one, especially as we were a bit nervous. Scott went to the extreme to be helpful - setting everything up ahead of time, even down to little things like screwing the license plate on the car and warming it up for us...and getting an extra iPod cable. As car salesman go, Scott breaks the mold in all the right ways. Professional and friendly. More

Great service. I was impressed with the friendliness and expertise of the employee who sold me the car. One thing that wasn't so great was that one of the sale's employees tried to push an insurance plan th expertise of the employee who sold me the car. We went to this dealer knowing they had a used 2010 jetta diesel manuel which is what we were interested in. We were immediately told they had no diesels. We asked again they went to check and then showed diesel manuel which is what we were interested in. We were immediately told they had no diesels. We asked again they went to check and then showed us the 2012 diesels. we asked for a used diesel again, we were again told they didn't have any. we asked again he checked then said oh i have to find it i found it before he did. we test drove it and were unimpressed with the manuel for the first time in our lives...the car had very little bells and whistles also. we then attempted to negotiate a price but the manager Carlos said he wouldn't budge. so we went to our car to leave, but received a call that left us in the parking lot so they came out and handed us our insurance which i didn't realize we had left..that is about the only good thing of this whole experience....then the salesman came back out and begged us to go back in now apparently they were willing to negotiate on a price, since this whole experience left a tast in our mouth we went to another dealership and were treated much better and were never lied to. More
