I talked to Nikki late on Friday evening and we had the deal done in no time. They found the car i wanted and picked it up for me and was waiting when i got to Dallas on Wed .. I flew in and they picked me up at the airport @ 545Pm and I had the paperwork done and was on the road in 1 hour. She was great and very nice to work with through the entire process. I reccomend this dealer to anyone needing a New VW. Talk to Nikki,, she was GREAT ! More

My entire life I have driven General Motors. It's a family thing. This time around we wanted something different. We have always liked VW as a brand. My wife wanted a new Tiguan and I had no intension of getting a new car too. We met Jeff Burns and he was polite, professional and also had a funny personality. He's kind of a geek but in a good way....he can answer all of your technical questions about the cars. Being a geek myself, we kinda connected. Long story short, we bought my wife a 2011 Tiguan. During the transaction, I mentioned to Jeff and also Scott in finance (who is also awesome) that I'd always loved the GTI. By the time I test rode the GTI, Jeff and Scott made sure that I was extremely well educated on all of the details of the car. The only last hurdle was the value of my truck. I thought I would be upside-down, given the economy and current resale values. I was very surprised to find out that I had over 4k equity. I do feel that they worked hard to give me top dollar for my truck. That same day I was driving my brand new 2011 gun metal gray GTI. This car is mor fun than a Corvette Z06 I used to have. Swear to god on that. Sure, the Z06 was faster, but the GTI for some reason is so much fun that it's hard to describe. Thanks to Rusty Wallis Volkswagen and their staff (Especially Jeff Burns and Scott Moore) for making this experience rewarding and completely changing my expectations on buying a new car. I personally have bought 2 cars from Rusty Wallis in Garland, TX without the presence of my husband...up until these last 2 incidents had received what I would consider treatemnt as a valued customer. Thus, have referred friends and family to Rusty Wallis. HOwever, when out on the lot looking at the new Jetta body style earlier in 2011, I received no help until my husband arrived on the scene about 20 minutes later. June 2011 looking to buy, I received good immediate attention and treatment from the sales person, Kyle. Unfortunately, when the greasy finance guy came on the scene, the attitude was very condescending it seemed to me, not to mention the salesperson was totally excluded from the process. The finance employee then sent the used car salesman over when I guess he determined no deal would be made with a new car and they were not going to offer close to what I needed for my very clean 2007 Wolfsberg Edition Jetta trade-in. First the used car guy looked my daughter up and down and then tried to sell me a used vehicle, never mentioning trade-in value on my car, which was the only issue. Told him I was not interested in a used vehicle. He went on to tell me he had parked one right by my car for my viewing. He stood up from the desk and walked away... I asked one of my grown children if that meant we were dismissed, they said they thought so... I asked if I could have my car keys back, he turned around and over his shoulder told me someone would be bringing them to me. As I was getting back into my car my salesperson came over and said if there was anything he could help me with to please give him a call. Too little to late, but I've got to give it to Kyle, he at least did the exit shake, where the other two just walked away without any social niceties... such as thanks for considering us, sorry we couldn't help you... blah blah, blah... I have now told many more people of my treatment than I ever referred to them. Most apparently aready knew not to go to Rusty Wallis in Garland... one couple is acutally in the market right now for a CC and... my son took me to the Park Cities VW where we both bought cars! More

Worst experience even! Worst dealership so far. They played bit and switch trick on me: agreed with a price and car over the phone, but switch to a cheaper car when I drove there. Both men let me know that they were available if I had any questions or problems with my purchase. Jeff was more than helpful with my Father and I while shopping for my Mothers new Jetta. There was upgrade work done on the car, but they still honored the original listing price ($400+ difference). I came in with an 8% financing loan, but the finance team there got me a much greater deal on financing. The experience there makes me love my car even more...and the vette engine helps too! More
