I just bought a new 2011 Volkswagen CC Lux Plus model from Rusty Wallis Volkswagen and I really enjoyed my experience! Scott and Ilia were both great to work with! I requested a quote online for a new car and within less than a minute I got a phone call (another dealer replied that they would not contact me unless I gave them more details about the car I wanted). Even though the options I was originally looking for were hard to find, Scott bent over backwards searching the area (and outside the area) to try and find one for me. I was most impressed at the effort that was put into finding me a car without having met me in person yet. I was kept informed of the search status with several phone calls which was very helpful and showed me that my business was important. I had already been talking to a couple of other dealerships but Rusty Wallis did the most work to earn my business. I declined dealerships that were closer to my location and decided to go the extra mile because I felt they would go the extra mile for me. On my initial call I was told what kind of deal they could make me on a vehicle. Another dealership where I have purchased in the past and where I have gone for service on my VWs for the last 7 to 8 years didn’t come close to the deal Rusty Wallis offered me even after a face to face visit and multiple offers. Even before they had a car on the lot that I wanted, I decided to pay a visit to the dealership because I could tell they would do everything they could to help me find what I wanted, not just sell me a car. When I arrived, my wishes were given ample attention as both Scott and Ilia searched to find a car that was just want I wanted. They didn’t try to talk me out of any of my criteria or push me into demo cars that were already on the lot. I was given time to make my decisions; I didn’t feel rushed or hurried and they had great patience with me when I took an extended period of time to decide on my preferred exterior/interior color options. Ultimately I decided on what was most important to me and a vehicle was found that met my requirements. Ilia plugged in the numbers on his computer screen right in front of me and we agreed on a price. There were no hidden fees or extra charges. I was given maximum trade in value that met and exceeded Kelly Blue Book’s ratings for my trade-in vehicle. It was a busy Saturday so I had to wait a little while to finish up with a finance specialist. During the wait I enjoyed chatting with the sales staff even about stuff not related to the car-buying process. The financial process was easy since we had worked out the numbers already. The document fees at Rusty Wallis are low and fair compared to other dealers in the area, their fees for window tinting are 50% less than other dealers in the area, and there are no required protection programs to sign up for (i.e. window etching protection) that are supposedly not optional at other dealerships. (Call around and do your homework on fees and extra charges!) During the delivery process I was surprised again at the courtesy and consideration I was given. At this point the papers had long been signed and the ink was already dry. They could have said “Here you go. Thanks for your business. See you later!” Instead Ilia took the time to help me set up my phone with the car’s Bluetooth system and walk me through all of the features on my new car. Each of the manuals was explained to me and all of my questions were answered. All in all I thought it was a great car-buying experience and I know I got a great deal on a car. This left me with a few extra bucks to purchase an extended warranty which is something I have never done before. Throughout the process I was treated with respect and honesty and I felt like they wanted my business not only this time, but the next time I decide to shop for a car too. I hope I get to buy my next VW from them! More

I had visited another dealership and had a horrid experience. They sold the car I was purchasing out from under me and would not return calls. When I called Jeffrey Torres at Rusty Wallis, he was friendly and when I explained what I was looking for and the price restrictions I had, he called me back about two hours later and had me approved for a vehicle and found me not only the car I was looking for, but with several upgrades which I had not anticipated for the price. I walked into the dealership, Mr. Torres had the car detailed, with a full tank of gas ready for me. Within 30 minutes, I had driven the car, signed the papers and was on my way in my new car.
