This was my third VW purchase, and this was the third VW dealer I had worked with in the Metroplex. By far, Rusty Wallis has surpassed my expectations for a dealership. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was extremely courteous and professional. Ilia quickly walked me to my 2009 Tiguan and offered a test drive. We then went to his office and he explained how the process works (which was quite different from other dealerships). Then I met with finance and he crunched and showed me the numbers. Finance was extremely flexible and gave me a great deal. The entire process took under two hours. Two hours!!! I had enough time to go home, eat dinner, and take my family out for a ride in my new set of wheels. There are only a handful of products and companies in which I'm fiercely loyal. Volkswagen is one of them, and now I will recommend Rusty Wallis to anyone who is in the market for a new or used VW. Their service is better than any other dealership in DFW. More

Overall I was very satisfied with this experience. Scott seemed straightforward. Whereas other dealers wouldn't give me a quote over the phone Scott told me exactly what he had and what they wanted for it. seemed straightforward. Other dealers clearly just wanted to get me in the door to sell me what they had but Scott was upfront about exactly which of my criteria he could match and which he couldn't. He did promise Bluetooth software upgrade since the car had a phone button on the steering wheel (other dealers tried to sell me add'l bluetooth installation) so I'm curious whether that will come to fruition. One small suggestion-- no one ever mentioned the need to wait for the glow plug light to go off before starting the engine so for the first week that I owned the Jetta I didn't do that. This should be part of the new car orientation/checklist for diesels. I would definitely (and have) recommend(ed) this dealership and we will go to Rusty Wallis Honda later this year to look at Hondas. More
