I have leased many VW's and been to every VW dealership on Long Island and there is no one better to deal with than Mike and his team at Donaldson. They were honest about what cars they had, and didn't have on the lot and were able to locate, secure and deliver just what I was looking for in my most recent lease of a 2012 Jetta SE. I decided that my BMW 3 series at 8 years old was going to start to need some work. So I figured that the sign and drive program of 0 + 0 + 0 etc was right for me as I looked at the dollars it made my deci to start to need some work. I remembered Donaldson's when they were in Hicksville along time ago. As I had bought parts for an old Rabbit from them I had. So I called them spoke with Darren Bruno who was very knowledgeable and no pressure. Went down and we took a test drive in the newly designed Passat. I was very impressed with its size, power and handling. Darrin had a few choices for me in the price range I needed to stay in. Signed me up in under 2 hours I now have a great powerful, big VW Passat. I would recommend Donaldson's to anyone looking for a VW very professional and no pressure. Nicholas W. More

Darren Bruno is a wo December 13, 2011 Dear Mr. Donaldson, I am writing to inform you of something I’m sure you already know. Darren Bruno is a world class sales consultant. I’ve purchased a few different cars in my lifetime. Unfortunately, my experiences with car sales consultants in the past have been less than satisfactory. Pushy and dishonest would be just a couple of adjectives to use to describe some of them. So when I first arrived at Donaldson’s naturally my guard was up. I was prepared with some exhaustive research on what would be a fair price for a new Touareg, as well as a fair price for my trade-in. Soon after meeting Darren a few things became apparent. This friendly and informed professional standing before me was not your stereotypical “car salesman.” In a relatively short period of time I was sitting in his office, fresh cup of tea in hand, listening to numbers that were exactly in the range I had desired. No hassles, no games, just a fair price for a truly great vehicle. When it is time once again to go car shopping there is little doubt I’ll be returning to Donaldson’s and asking to see Mr. Bruno.
