Have to say, Donaldson's was a serious breath of fresh air after dealing with a whole array of really frustrating cheeseball car dealerships. Everything went smoothly, no one tried to change the deal at the last minute (which was why I gave up on a place closer to me), & the whole financing business worked out perfectly. The place is a bit of a hike from Manhattan, but for me the time spent was more than worth it (you can always work on the train, what the heck). I'd recommend Brad to anyone. The salesmen Darren that assisted me was excellent! He was very friendly, not pushy, very personable, very nice, and very down to earth. He worked very hard to meet my needs, I let him know what I could afford and where I wanted my payments to be and the car I liked and him and his manager got those payments right where I wanted them to be. Unlike most salesmen they always try to sell you on something else, or they think you have more money than you say you have and they try to come back with some price way over the budget you can afford. They definitely did not do that here. Darren was also very patient with me and helped me get exactly what I wanted and answered the thousands of questions I had. When I went to sign the paperwork I had to wait a few moments, they offered me and my boyfriend coffee and tea. Even the man in the credit department was very pleasant and knowledgeable when I signed all my paperwork. I have been driving my Volkswagen Jetta for a few weeks now and I LOVE it! Overall an excellent experience, and in my experience car shopping is never easy, but this transaction generally was. More

Christina Notaro made the initial contact with me, and then introduced me to my salesperson, Darren. Every effort was made to assist me in my new lease purchase of the 2012 Jetta SE. I am very critical of what Customer Service should be and stand for. Darren and Donaldson's has far exceeded my expectations.Darren and Christina delivered what they promised me. I picked up my car this past Saturday,December 10th. I went over a few things with Christina and then finised up with Darren. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to go over the final details of financing and payment setup with Darren, instead of going back and forth between Finance and sales. I don't think anyone has ever explained the various functions of my car, as well as Darren did...including the Bluetooth,Satellite Radio and CD setup, the way Darren did. Darren also said if I ever had any questions about anything,to please call him. This is my 4th Jetta from Donaldson's, and by far,it's been the best experience I've had so far.
