My ratings were given simply because of my sales person (Matt Pollock) was one of the most sincere sales persons I have met in a long while. I'm a very determined customer that wants what I want. I have tried many times over 1-2 years period to negotiate a phone deal with this dealership. Unsuccessful to begin with but realized that my request were basically not going to have many responses either way. Ended up purchasing a vehicle somewhere else that year. A year goes by and i wanted to test another vehicle out. Did my searches online and found that Carbiz Baltimore again had a car I was interested in. This time around i bugged and pushed as much as I could to get a phone deal and trade in. Not too successful but it was going somewhere this time. I later received a response from Matt advising me that it would be wroth my while to come into the dealership to see the vehicle. I was still on the fence about it but then i decided that I had nothing to lose. So i arrived at the dealership. Finally met Matt for the first time. Very soft spoken and approachable sales person. We went to look at the SUV that i was interested in. At first glance, I already knew I did not want the vehicle so now i'm thinking i've wasted my time. More so - i thought to myself that I have wasted Matt's time. So now I decided to ask Matt if there were any other SUV's on the lot that I would like. Off the top of his head, he said he was not sure. So then he decided for us to walk the lot to look. At this very minute, i thought to myself that I was not dealing with a very knowledgeable sales person. At this moment i was pretty much thinking about leaving but then I said to myself, would i have rather Matt told me something untrue or rather him tell me that he was unsure. It was because of his decision to tell me that he really did not know made me decide to browse the inventory on the computer together to see if there is something I would like. I decided this because I wanted to give Matt the opportunity to work with me and for him to realize that not all customers that have demanding request on the phone are not trustworthy. As we browsed the inventory, we found only a selected few but none that I was truly interested in but still found something i was willing to wheel and deal on. In doing the test drive, I found many issues that I was unpleasant about. Discussed with Matt and he promised they would all be taken care of. None the less - this deal did not work out. So then I met his manager for the 2nd time. He thanked me for coming in then asked what vehicle was i truly looking for. I then told him. Luckily he had that one vehicle by chance. Long story short - when I told Matt that I was not pleasant with the 1st vehicle I test drove for many reasons, he immediately took the initiative and said that it was completely his fault for not checking the vehicle properly before I entered and drove it. Because of this - i again said to myself that I really appreciate Matt's honesty. At this moment, when i knew they had my SUV that i truly wanted, if all looked well, i said to myself that i MUST MAKE A DEAL with Matt only praying that it would be reasonable and that I could become a customer to Matt. Sure enough - it took 1 day to finalize a deal. I was worried that we could not agree on a deal and then Matt time would've been wasted by me being to unrealistic. None the less - i told Matt how serious I was and he talked it over with Evan (his manager). We FINALLY came to a reasonable agreement over the phone. Now I finally realized to myself that I would be able to become a customer to Matt all because of how genuine and honest he was to me. I really felt that Matt wanted to help me as much as possible because I had been nothing but honest to him and his dealership. All in All - it was a wonderful experience and Matt made my experience the most enjoyable! More

I have been dreaming of owning a Vespa for years and I recently decided that now's as good a time as any to buy one. So I looked up deals and, lo and behold, there was one right of the street from my hou recently decided that now's as good a time as any to buy one. So I looked up deals and, lo and behold, there was one right of the street from my house on Reisterstown Road--Carbiz! So I went by and checked out the selection. I found many models to choose from and found the one I wanted pretty immediately. The sales staff was very nice and even though their Vespa expert was out on maternity leave, the other representatives did everything they could to answer my questions. Martin, who ended up being the rep. to help me, owns a Vespa himself--talk about believing in the product that you sell! He worked with me to put together a good deal on my car trade-in and made sure I had the accessories I needed to be on the road and satisfied with my new purchase! Now I'm zooming around town in my cute, new shiny white 2012 Vespa and I'm as happy as a lark! My Vespa turns heads wherever I go and I can feel good that I made an eco-friendly purchase; I could just about drive forever on one tank on this baby! I highly recommend Carbiz to others! More
