Complete Idiot Sales Member Went in with a preapproval from Capital One. Did all the documents online with them to make the buying experience easier. Had an appointment and even Went in with a preapproval from Capital One. Did all the documents online with them to make the buying experience easier. Had an appointment and even to a Lyft because we knew we were preapproved. Got there and it took another 30 minutes before we got a sales person. Handed over all the paperwork that Capital One tells you to bring. Drove the car and should be easy in easy out, but NO the sales guy brought back the first offer almost $150 more than what Capital One had already had for us. He had added GAP, Warranty, and something else even after we had told him we didn’t want anything extra. He started arguing and talking about how stupid it was to not get GAP, but what he didn’t realize is just how stupid he is. If you finance a $30,000 car the interest that you pay over the ENTIRE term is $21,000, does that mean you owe $51,000 on the car? NO You only owe the daily interest and the amount you financed. So, if you leave the dealership and wreck the car do you owe $51,000 or would it be closer to $30,200? If you guessed $51,000 then you qualify to sale cars for Drivers Select. If you picked $30,200 then you are right and PLEASE don’t let them try to trick you into buying GAP. I would not recommend Drivers Select to anyone. More
