He promptly replied our emails. We were able to test drove on our own without salesman in the car. We test drove 2 cars and made our decision. Smooth Process. Financing was easy. No pressure to buy additional items like additional warranty and ding insurance. We deal with one person only. They don't accept outside financing but they rate they offered was not bad. More

Bad customer AFTER purchasing vehicle My husband and I purchased a car with Heather in February. The process went well. It is unlike a dealership with constant negotiations, which we both liked. I had never heard of Driver’s Select before, but my husband did research on the company. The downside is that it was extremely crowded on a Saturday. Sales reps were almost fighting for a room, which mean’t the process took a bit longer than I would have preferred. So at the time of purchasing and after, I was happy with our purchase. It was not until after our purchase that I realized that this company is extremely lacking in customer service from the Sales Reps, to the Manager of Sales. This is the downside of not purchasing with a regular dealership. At a dealership, if you are not satisfied with one member in Sales, you will always be able to receive some form of help…not here. After speaking with a few Sales Reps, I spoke to Gene, who is the head of sales. He promised to call me back and he never had. I even called back to remind him of our conversation, no response. I called on a Saturday before they were busy and spoke to another manager, he promised to call back on a Monday, no call. I spoke to my sales rep and asked her to see if my question can be expedited, nothing. It is disturbing that we purchased a car from this company and no one is willing to help resolved my problem, nor will they return my call. It is a slap in the face as a customer to be treated this way. Would I ever recommend a family member or friend to purchase from them? After my experience with their lack of customer, I am disappointed that we purchased our vehicle from them. No customer should be treated this way, not matter what question they ask during or after the sales process. More

Great Car Buying Experience I was apprehensive about car shopping since I hadn't bought a car, new or used, in close to 15 years but was pleasantly surprised with my experience a I was apprehensive about car shopping since I hadn't bought a car, new or used, in close to 15 years but was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Drivers Select. My salesperson, Paul Michael, was very helpful and provided all the information I wanted without being pushy or putting any pressure on me. I was reminded of the Best Buy salespeople; helpful without being annoying. Drivers Select had a bigger selection of cars than Carmax and the website was great. Every car had 30-40 detailed pictures, along with the "no haggle" prices, which seemed lower than other dealer prices I found for comparable cars. With all the information on the website, I was able to get a good idea which cars I was interested before even going to the dealership. Paul Michael was also extremely accessable to answer many additional questions I had over several days. I was too busy to talk, so we texted back and forth many times. When I finally went to the dealership, he already had the car pulled up to the front and was handing me the keys for a test drive. After about an hour test drive, I had decided to buy the car but decided to sleep on it to see if I changed my mind. The next day I was too busy to go to the dealership but they accepted a deposit to keep the car for one day. The next day, I went to the dealership to buy the car. The purchase experience was also less painful and took less time than expected. Paul Michael let me know the information that would be needed to complete the purchase and I was able to email the documents so that he could get most of the paperwork done in advance. We were at the dealership for about two hours but the actual signing of the papers and completion of the sale took only about 30 minutes, even with financing involved. Some of the extra time was due to a minor defect that my son found in the car body. I was surprised that they took the car back to the shop right then to correct the problem, which took only about 30 minutes. I was wary of hidden extra fees being added during the sale, but that too did not happen. There are papers on several of the walls in the dealership explaining the only two extra costs, a documentation fee and dealer prep fee, which are standard for most dealers. The other fees were the sales tax, registration, and inspection fees; also standard. After having the car for about a week now, I am still extremely satisfied and will probably buy another car from this dealership. I would recommend them over other pre-owned or new car dealers. More

Deceptive, Liars that won't disclose all thier fees up front I am giving DriversSelect 1 star because they have deceptive business practices! That is the only positive about my purchase, because I bought it out of state, they told me by law that I had to license it through them. There was a $259 delivery fee and $150 document fee and that was all that I would pay (above the vehicle and actual license fee from Arkansas). They charged me more $14.50 state inspection (but I don't live in TX) $16.61 dealer inventory tax, $79.98 process fee for out of state (Didn't I just get charge $150 for document fee ? FRAUD) and they still over paid the sales tax to Arkansas, so they say I have to speak to the DMV to get that money back. I love my car, but DriversSelect is deceptive, lying and will not take responsibility for their actions. I have given them 2 weeks to compromise on a settlement and they would not budge. Look for my posts on every outlet. More
