[Tuesday] My husband and I came in with interest in a particular car, Toyota Corolla, that we found online. We worked with Jay Cooper who helped us test drive a few different vehicles, when we decided our favorite was still the Corolla. However, the one we wanted wasn't quite ready yet. So, Jay told us we could put a $500, non-refundable security deposit down to secure the car, after giving all our information to finance the vehicle. He told us he would let us know well in advance when it was ready so we could come and test drive it and make sure everything was good to go. We did everything he told us to. The next day we talked with Jay about numbers and financing. The day after that we reached out to him and clarified questions, I even asked if he had any sense of idea when the car would be ready (no, he didn't). [Friday] My husband gets a call from Jay stating that there had been a policy change, and they no longer accepted $500 security deposit, so it was boiling down to first come first serve. 7 MINUTES later, my husband was there trying to fix this, only to find someone else test driving the car, and because they had keys in hand, they had the right to buy it--which they did. We did EVERYTHING we were told to do to secure that car. Had we know it was first come first serve, we would have acted accordingly. Had we know we hadn't secured the car, we would have acted accordingly. The second we DID know, we did everything we could, and it wasn't enough. We weren't even informed that the car was front-line ready and could be test driven. Needless to say, we were devastated and I was furious. Naturally I called management. They were confused as to why this happened because that policy was changed weeks ago. There was NO reason this should have happened and the salesman knew that. Of course, management did what they could to make us happy customers, but it boiled down to getting a different used vehicle, with more miles and slightly less quality for a higher list price. I will happily admit that the people we worked with next were as great as they could be to us. We tried to find the silver lining in what happened, but the fact is--it shouldn't have happened. We didn't want to buy a car from them after that, but our credit was already damaged and the financing was drawn up because of what happened earlier that week. Ultimately, we did buy a car through them, but I wouldn't recommend them after what happened to us. More

My salesman was Randon he called me back when he said he would he told me that everything was 100% approved and unlike most dealerships he didn't lie he told the truth. He told me that when we got there all we would have to do is sign and give him the down payment and that is exactly how it worked no waiting for hours on top of hours. I absolutely would recommend Driverselect to all of my friend and family members! Thanks Randon for the outstanding experience!!! More

Unjustified Fear Buying a car is a stressful ordeal that I have been accustomed to for quite some time. Every time my wife mentioned that she wanted a new car it made Buying a car is a stressful ordeal that I have been accustomed to for quite some time. Every time my wife mentioned that she wanted a new car it made me cringe. The thought of going into a dealership and being hounded by seedy salesmen and dealing with the ever drawn out process of financing made me want to vomit. So when she brought it up again 2 days ago I felt the knots in my stomach start to tighten. I said, lets go ahead and browse on the internet first before we do anything. We went through several websites but she was unable to find the exact car that she wanted so we kept looking. Finally, we came across the Driversselect website and there it was, a 2015 Ford Explorer Limited, fully loaded, her heart melted and I knew that was the one. That's when the dread sank in, now we have to go in and deal with the horrors of buying a car. But wait, my wife saw that we were able to apply online, a silver lining to this dark cloud was starting to emerge. She plugged in all our info and then we waited. After about 15 minutes we received a call from a gentleman named Larry Pelky, he spoke very well and seemed genuine right out the gate. Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after `all. He ran our numbers and was able to get us financed for my wife's dream car. He invited us to the dealership and met us with a friendly smile and led us to our new car. Larry gave us his undivided attention was very excited to show us all the features and how to operate them. He went over our paperwork and even let us drive it while we waited to be finalized. After we got back to the dealership Larry took us to our booth so that we could seal the deal, he even gave us delicious Cokes to quench our thirst. Papers began to fly as signature were running across the pages. Then just like, we were the new owners of this beautiful machine, I sat back in awe with the incredible events that transpired. Larry Pelky changed my opinion on how cars are bought. I will forever send my friends and family to him to experience this wonderful process. Best Dealer Experience I searched online for a vehicle that would fit my need. It came down to two dealers having the vehicle I liked and at a price under other dealers in m I searched online for a vehicle that would fit my need. It came down to two dealers having the vehicle I liked and at a price under other dealers in my area. I called and worked with Kyle Burnett, and asked questions and paperwork about the vehicle all the way until I got it. I did not want to make two trips so most of the work was done over the phone and by e-mail. He was very easy to deal with and did not try to push me on to other vehicles or raise price tag on vehicle. He even did the paperwork for my tags since I am out of state. The whole process was easy. I was expecting the vehicle to have minor scratches cuts or tears since it is a used vehicle however, they had fixed all of these issues making it feel new. Before leaving he had me look around the vehicle to see any issues. I found a minor cut in a seat; not a deal breaker but I mentioned it. Kyle took the vehicle back and they fixed it within 20 minutes. They did a great job! I would definitely recommend both Kyle Burnett as a person to deal with in that dealer and the dealer due to its professional operations. More

Best Car Experience Everrrrrr!!!! I’ve always dreaded the car purchase process. I purchased a car at DS about 15 years ago and the process was long and drawn out like any other dealer I’ve always dreaded the car purchase process. I purchased a car at DS about 15 years ago and the process was long and drawn out like any other dealership but now with the way that they do things now, I would recommend DS to everyone. The new process of beginning the process online then via phone and then finishing up at the dealership was amazing. In the end, I got what I wanted, for the price I wanted and was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours. That’s not even the best part. JEFF PALMER is the best at what he does! There aren’t enough adjectives to express his awesomeness. He was honest and straight-forward and as friendly as they come. He is the epitome of southern hospitality. JEFF PALMER clearly loves what he does and takes pride in the company that he works for. I actually look forward to my next purchase. More

I arrived at my 11:30AM appointment to test drive a couple of cars, made my decision and was out of there with my new car by 1:30PM. John Shaffer was great throughout the purchase and the finance team even found me a better interest rate than I had with another bank. I'll definitely be back to purchase another vehicle when the time comes. More
