The oil change and tuneup went well, but I also asked the service advisor to have the trunk light bulb changed because several months ago, the person in the parts department sold me the wrong bulb for the tr service advisor to have the trunk light bulb changed because several months ago, the person in the parts department sold me the wrong bulb for the trunk light. Therefore I told the service advisor about this, and he said he would take care of it. I called him yesterday and asked him why wasn’t the trunk light working. He said that the technician put the bulb in but didn’t turn the switch on. In other words he left the switch off. Why would you do that? Because when I open the trunk I want the light to come on automatically. I don’t want to have to get out and go turn on the light in the trunk manually. I am supposed to stop by the service department today and see if the light actually works. I cannot turn on the switch so I’m going to get the service advisor to turn it on and see if it actually works. If it doesn’t work, I will be absolutely pissed about the whole thing. It seems very trivial, but when you spend over $500 on an oil change and tuneup, you want the complete job to be done and that includes the trunk light fixed. More
Service department can be better. There is too much to write. Unfortunately, I would not use this services department again if I did not already purchase 2 vehicles from this dealersh There is too much to write. It's hard figuring out where to start with this stealership. While my salesman was good other aspects of my experience were horrible, and out of the 5 new cars I've bought in my life I would've nev stealership. While my salesman was good other aspects of my experience were horrible, and out of the 5 new cars I've bought in my life I would've never expected such. If it has the Northshore advantage package, run, go to another dealer. The protection film was peeling when I bought the car, I was promised a call to set up an appointment to fix it, but once you do the survey all five stars like they ask, they won't fix anything. Three months after I just peeled it off and accepted my loss. The financing was the most shadiest of it all, after expressing the only extra I wanted was gap and settling for a maintenance plan extended warranty was still snuck in my contract with the finance guy making sure to rush me and put his hand over the rights thing so I wouldn't catch it. After catching it and complaining they assured me it could be canceled and it wasn't a problem. I went in to sign the cancellation and was told the credit on my financing would take months. Low and behold I'm almost a year and never received a credit, this is actually quite common after reading online because the finance man loses money so they won't turn it in. If you go through this get a copy of the paper you signed, it is very much able to have legal recourse from a lawyer and is very illegal, I can't do anything cause I don't have proof. Also be truthful on the hyundai survey, I was assured everything would be fixed if I 5 starred it and it was a blatant lie. Go to another state before this dealer, or get a loan somewhere else before financing would be my advice. More
