My air filter wasn’t replaced correctly. Now my air conditioning makes an awful squeaking sound while running. Also, I was told my tires were rotated which was a boldfaced lie. I have a slow leak in my back passenger side tire and it’s still on the back passenger side after my visit. It makes me wonder what other services are claimed but not completed. More

I brought my ioniq in for a broken air conditioner. The issue was identified to be a hole in the condenser. The repair required a new condenser so one was put on order which would take several days. So I went and picked up my car in the meantime. While driving on the interstate the next morning I heard a terrible dragging sound. It turns out the engine splash plate was incorrectly reinstalled after the inspection, had come loose, and was dragging on the ground. The engine splash guard was not totalled but damaged enough to compromise some of the fastening system. I made a temporary repair with duct tape and stayed off the interstate. I notified the service department of the situation and expressed my frustration. The service representative mentioned they could fix it with a zip tie, I said that would be unacceptable and they would have to make it right when I brought the car in for the condenser replacement. When the condenser arrived I was not notified. I called after 5 days and was told it was in and scheduled an appointment for 6 days later. 5 days later I was called and told the part was in. I informed the service representative I already had an appointment set up for the next day. The next day I brought my car in for repair. The condenser was repaired. The damaged engine splash guard was simply reinstalled. Missing fastening hardware was replaced but the damaged area unaddressed. I reluctantly paid and left. Hindsight I wish I had pushed for a replacement. In summary I took my ioniq to the dealer expecting to pay a little more but to get better service. I was mistaken. The incorrect attachment of the engine splash guard, subsequent damage, and lackluster repair attempt was very frustrating. Additionally the lack of punctuality in letting me know parts were in is also frustrating. More
