I have dealt with this dealership since I bought my first Genesis G70 from them. Heretofore, the service was very good, but this time it was horrendous! I live in Mobile and I bypassed two other dealerships Genesis G70 from them. Heretofore, the service was very good, but this time it was horrendous! I live in Mobile and I bypassed two other dealerships to have my car serviced in Covington. I received, by my count, 26 text messages from the service department reminding me of my appointment. I had a 5 pm appointment in Franklinton on October 27th, so I contacted Cristina about changing my service appointment from the 24th to the 27th to alleviate making two round trips from Mobile to the Covington area and the dealership. When I arrived Cristina wasn’t there and I was told the door handle part was painted the wrong color and my car would not be ready until the next day. It is hard to understand, given the number of reminder texts I received not to mention emails, why this was not conveyed to me before I left Mobile! Since I had to be in Franklinton anyway, I would have been prepared to stay overnight. I had to stay in a crummy Franklinton motel with no change of clothes or underwear. Fortunately, I travel with toothpaste and a brush. So I had to purchase other toiletries. When I arrived at the service department the handle still was not ready. While waiting I had a conversation with a member of the sales team who remembered me when I purchased my G70 from Genesis of Covington several years ago. He informed Mr. Ronald Oubre, Service Manager about my dilemma. NOT ONCE did he bother to come to me to offer an apology, explanation, or try to make an effort to make a highly unsatisfactory situation acceptable. That’s just common courtesy, forget customer service!! With the economy being what it is and fuel cost at an all time high, one would think automobile dealerships would be more concerned about customer satisfaction. When I mentioned to the service agent, Christopher I think his name is, that I had come from Mobile with no plans to stay overnight, he looked at me as if to say, “So, what do you want me to do about it?” He did say, you’ll have to come back tomorrow (Friday), when I asked what time he said after 12 noon. I did and the door handle hadn’t even been returned from the paint shop! We’re not talking about some “fly by night, shady tree” operation here. This is allegedly a highly successful dealership that sells high end products. Info, the same thing cannot be said about its service department! More

This is the second time I’ve brought my car here. The first time I picked up my car when it was done only to have to turn around and bring it right back because the air conditioning was making a craz The first time I picked up my car when it was done only to have to turn around and bring it right back because the air conditioning was making a crazy noise. They had put the filter back incorrectly and took another thirty minutes to fix it. This time, they rotated my tires. As soon as I left both back tires dinged and said low pressure. There is a slow leak in each now that was not there before the rotation and I will have to replace both tires. That was the last time I will bring my vehicle to this location for service. More
