We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Edwards CDJR Village in Omaha. We drove 2.5 hours on February 16th to pick up a vehicle we believed was road ready, only to be told upon arriva with Edwards CDJR Village in Omaha. We drove 2.5 hours on February 16th to pick up a vehicle we believed was road ready, only to be told upon arrival that it would not be ready to take home and might not even be available the next day because it still needed to go through service. On the drive home, we were informed the transfer case was broken and it would take about two weeks to get the part. On February 26th, we were told the vehicle was being finished and we signed all paperwork online. The delivery date kept getting pushed back multiple times (Monday, then Tuesday, then Thursday due to a technician calling in sick). After speaking with the used car sales manager and applying pressure through the principal salesman, the vehicle was finally delivered the following Wednesday. Within days of receiving the vehicle, we noticed loud noises when shifting gears, fluid leaks, and no antifreeze. The dealership agreed to take it back and provided a demo vehicle while they worked on it. They picked up the vehicle on March 11th, and we heard nothing until March 16th when they said it was ready. When we received the vehicle again, it smelled like burning oil, still had no antifreeze, and the transmission belt appeared to be going out. When my husband spoke with the used general manager on March 18th, he was essentially told “tough luck” and that we could take it somewhere else to be looked at and they might pay for repairs, but likely would choose not to. On March 20th, we took the vehicle to a Ford dealership local to me for an inspection and sent the quote to Edwards CDJR Village. Multiple attempts were made to contact management, including voicemails, emails, and messages through their chatbot, but communication has been very poor and slow. Finally on March 23rd, Keenan Ford (General Manager), reached out to my husband after multiple attempts. We were told that they would cover an eighth of the cost of the repairs needed to the vehicle. Did I mention we were quoted over $8k for repairs?? Overall, this has been an extremely disappointing experience. We drove hours for a vehicle that was not ready, dealt with repeated delays, received a vehicle with multiple mechanical issues, and have struggled to get clear communication or accountability from management. We simply expected a safe, road-ready vehicle and professional follow-through after the sale. It is now March 24th and I am now without a car as it is still sitting in a shop because of the negligence of ensuring everything was good on their end before selling the vehicle to family with two little kids. At this point, we no longer have confidence in the vehicle or in Edwards CDJR Village’s ability to properly repair it. We are requesting that the dealership take responsibility for this situation and buy the vehicle back. We purchased this vehicle expecting it to be safe and road ready, and instead have been left with ongoing mechanical issues and uncertainty. The appropriate resolution is for Edwards CDJR Village to buy back the vehicle and make this right. More
Here is my review. I will be posting this to as many places as possible. Spoke with Warren in the service department and then lied to by Noah in Finance. Date of servic I will be posting this to as many places as possible. Spoke with Warren in the service department and then lied to by Noah in Finance. Date of service March 10th Where do I begin. I purchased my vehicle here in May 2025. One month before I bought it, their own April 2025 inspection documented the transmission fluid as fine, cabin filter replaced, air filter replaced. I drove it 9,000 miles. That’s it. I brought my car in for a warranty repair, a CV seal. Routine. Should have been simple. Instead I left with a laundry list of things I suddenly “needed.” What they told me I needed: ∙ Transmission fluid flush, black and full of metal flakes per their own mechanic ∙ Rear differential replacement ∙ New cabin filter ∙ New air filter Let that sink in. Filters they documented as replaced one month before I bought the car. Suddenly need replacing. Their mechanic called me personally and told me the transmission fluid was black with metal flakes. When my partner called shortly after, magically the story changed to just “black fluid.” No mention of metal flakes. By the time we arrived to pick up the car the fluid’s appearance had also changed. Then the finance manager stepped in. Not a mechanic. The finance manager. He personally assured us the fluid was actually pretty clean and nothing to worry about — directly contradicting what their own mechanic told me hours earlier. When my partner began walking back with the finance manager to view the fluid himself, he was physically stopped at the door. Not asked to wait. Stopped. We were not allowed to see the evidence they were using to justify a $400 charge with our own eyes. So let me get this straight…The finance manager is overriding the mechanic’s assessment, nobody is allowed to actually look at the evidence, and we were physically blocked from the service area. Why is a finance manager speaking on mechanical issues? Because his job is to close deals and protect the service bill. Not tell you the truth. When I said I was getting a second opinion, he went quiet and tried to talk me out of it. That told me everything. I took it to a certified independent transmission specialist out of pocket. Their findings: ∙ No metal flakes ∙ Rear differential is in perfectly good shape ∙ Fluid does need changing, which I am now paying for elsewhere because I don’t trust anyone in that building Their April 2025 inspection said the transmission fluid was fine. I put 9,000 miles on it and now it’s black? Either that inspection was falsified or something happened to that fluid on their lot. Neither is acceptable. I also want to be direct about something. As a woman, this entire experience showed me exactly how this dealership operates. The contradicting stories, the refusal to let us view anything, the finance manager swooping in to smooth things over. This is a dealership that sees women in the service department as an opportunity. I was not treated as someone who deserved the truth. I was treated as someone they could overwhelm with technical language and upsells until I just paid and left. I have paperwork. I have the independent shop’s findings. I have dates. All of it documented. This is not a bad experience. This is a pattern. Do not protect your wallet! Protect your safety. A dealership willing to lie about your transmission is a dealership willing to let you drive something unsafe. Do not let them touch your car without a second opinion. Every. Single. Time. More

They wanted me to take the Jeep to another dealership because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and it is still under warranty. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. They are liars, scammers, and have zero integrity. We bought a used vehicle from this joke of a dealership, and the second we drove off the lot, t They are liars, scammers, and have zero integrity. We bought a used vehicle from this joke of a dealership, and the second we drove off the lot, the truth started showing. The car had: • A broken daytime headlight • A broken door handle • A faulty tire pressure sensor • A service light for an oil change • A service alert for the suspension system NONE of this was disclosed. Not one word. When we called them out on it, they told us, “Don’t worry, it’s all covered. We’ll take care of everything—it’ll be done in four days.” That was just them blowing smoke. A full week later, not a single update. We had to chase them down, only to be told they’re not fixing anything. No repairs. No coverage. Just a straight-up, “Yeah, we’re not doing that.” Unbelievable. They sold us a busted car, lied about fixing it, then ghosted us and refused to stand behind what they said. This place is shady, dishonest, and should not be in business. If you value your money, your time, or your sanity—run far, far away from this dealership. More

This dealership sold us a vehicle with so many hidden problems, pressured us, was extremely rude and insulting.
