I took my Dodge Dakota in for waranty work. Randy did an excellent job at making an appointment that was convenient for me. Also kept me informed while my vehicle was in the shop. The dealership is a very n excellent job at making an appointment that was convenient for me. Also kept me informed while my vehicle was in the shop. The dealership is a very nice facility. When my truck was done they washed it and did not leave any thing dirty, i.e. door panels, inside trim. The reason i brought my truck in was the auto down window stuck 3/4 of the way down. Also the bed was not aligned with the cab. I was amazed they could fix this problem because i thought this was something i would have to live with because when I bought a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad cab it was the same way. I am very pleased with the service i recieved from this dealership, especially Randy Hamling. More
I live in Dundee and still go all the way out to 180th because the service and people are so exceptional! It started with my Salesman, Rusty, and has continued with everyone I have encountered. The last three vehicles I have purchased have all come from Baxter. They treated me right the first time and nothing has changed. I suggested to them what I wanted to pay and they found me multiple cars from Baxter. They treated me right the first time and nothing has changed. I suggested to them what I wanted to pay and they found me multiple cars to choose from. I was able to test drive everyone of them and found the one that fit me the best. It is a perfect match. There was never any pressure to show me anything I didn't think I could afford. I had a little trouble with the car in the first 30 days and they fixed the problem and had me on my way in no time. I am very grateful for the people at Baxter and how they make the car buying experience a good one. More

After reading the rating from sdw6452, I felt compelled to let everyone know how satisfied I am with Baxter. Everyone there is very helpful, and their attentiveness is excellent. Our salesman made us feel to let everyone know how satisfied I am with Baxter. Everyone there is very helpful, and their attentiveness is excellent. Our salesman made us feel like we were the only customers in the store, and I was confident that my purchase was the best deal around. More
We took our Chrysler Pacifica to this dealership to have a new waterpump put in. Somehow, unbelievably, the guys doing the work cracked our oil pan. It took 7 weeks to get an oil pan, so we were without a a new waterpump put in. Somehow, unbelievably, the guys doing the work cracked our oil pan. It took 7 weeks to get an oil pan, so we were without a vehicle for 7 weeks! It wasn't Randy's fault that there weren't any oil pans available, but we did feel as though the dealership should have provided us with a free rental car or loaner, as it was clearly their fault that we were without a vehicle. They refused. In the end, they put in a used oil pan, pulled out a couple of dents at our request, (but refused to repair all of the dents - there were 2 more small dents left), washed the car, filled up the tank, and they covered the cost of our warranty transfer of $250 (which covered the cost to replace the water pump). Randy was polite enough and nice enough, but we had to ask for everything we received. When I would call to speak to Randy's boss, I was told several times to call back and try again another time. I never did get to speak to him. If the service had been top notch, I would have expected that someone would take my name and number and have the Service Manager, Todd Webster, return my call. I would also expect that they would be apologizing profusely, that they would have done more to compensate us for being without our car for 7 weeks, and/or they would have provided us with a loaner vehicle/rental. Charles Saxton did not let me wonder around in Baxters huge car lot. He was out the front door with a smile on his face right away. Besides being friendly, he was very knowledgeable about all the upgrade huge car lot. He was out the front door with a smile on his face right away. Besides being friendly, he was very knowledgeable about all the upgrades Jeep has made since I bought my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He had loads of information for me and did not pressure me which I really appreciated. He took the"pain" out of purchasing a car by myself for the first time. Charles is an asset to Baxter's sales team and I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks, Charles! More
I recently went into Baxter to look for a car, and worked with Jim Thomas and he was great. He did everything possible to get me what I needed. I said what I could afford, what I was interested in, and what with Jim Thomas and he was great. He did everything possible to get me what I needed. I said what I could afford, what I was interested in, and what I needed my payments to be and he got all three and much more for me. I was really impressed and now I have a great car that I can afford. I would recommend Jim anytime to anyone looking for a new or used car. More
I went to Baxter knowing that I wanted a new vehicle. I was surprised at how many salesmen were willing to help customers up front. The saleman I worked with was Joe. Joe was a very helpful man. I never do internet reviews, but I recently purchased a car at Baxter, and it was one of the worst car-buying experiences I have ever had the misfortune of enduring. The sales staff was not helpful, on mul car at Baxter, and it was one of the worst car-buying experiences I have ever had the misfortune of enduring. The sales staff was not helpful, on multiple occasions we sat around at the dealer for 20 or 30 minutes waiting for someone to help us, all the while being told "he'll be with you shortly". Yeah, right. I can't think of a single time I was told something TRUE, or a single aspect of the sale that was not screwed up by the fine employees of Baxter. Never, so long as I am alive will I ever purchase another vehicle from Baxter. My advice is if you're car-shopping, save yourself the headaches and go somewhere else. More
