My wife negotiated the purchase of a used vehicle for herself, signed the papers and took the car home. The next day I went and paid for a new insurace policy for this car. The day after that we get a ca herself, signed the papers and took the car home. The next day I went and paid for a new insurace policy for this car. The day after that we get a call from the salesman saying that they had forgotten to have my wife sign a couple of papers and could my she come down that day to sign them. She did and we ended up going from a 9.19% rate to a 13.9% rate at a different finance company. They did lower the price of the car but with the increase in the finance charge we end up paying $342.00 more for the car. The dealer also only gave my wife (1) car key and said they didn't have another. I have always received two sets of keys when I purchased a car. Chip keys from a dealer are not cheap. If we would have known this was going to be such a hassle, we would not have bought the car. More
