I arrived to see about buying a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Was deciding between the Overland and Summit. Once I made my decision the process was smooth. I arrived with price quotes on both vehicles from Truecar.com which has an price guarantee agreement with Sac Jeep. on Fulton. I had already been to Fulton and they had the Overland in stock and the Summit could have been there the next day. I decided to come to Elk Grove as you had the product and I didn't want to decide until I had driven each and understood the differences. The truecar.com prices were aggressive but Gordon was able to match the prices (and then sell me a lot of other things, so you guys did just fine.) More

Probably the best experience I ever had purchasing a new vehicle. I exchange emails with Frankie for a couple days talking about the Chrysler 300s I was interested in. The process to purchase the vehicle took a little longer than I had hoped but that was due to some unforeseen circumstances. Overall my experience with Frankie and the rest of the staff involved in my purchase was relatively smooth and easy. Definitely would recommend this dealership to people. More
After visiting another dealership and having one of the worst experiences in my more than 30 years of car buying, we had a very refreshing experience at this one. Over the course of a couple of weeks we spoke with several different sales people. Unfortunately I don't have all of their names. We've experienced some instances when you ask for a previous salesman no one else wants to help you. Each of the 3 we spoke to took great care of us! They helped us look thru several options, went on test drives and answered our questions. No matter who we spoke to we got great service. Gordon also quarterbacked our visits on a couple of occasions and took our calls when we couldn't reach others. I'm a sales manager and was very impressed with the team approach. It was if there wasn't any commission involved, but rather, that we were most important regardless of how people are compensated. We purchased a car that we are very happy with. Within a few weeks circumstances caused us to be shopping for another car and we immediately returned. Over the course of several weeks we met with others like Bob who have helped us once again. This time around it became a issue of not having the right car at the right time. However, we will return again and again, and we'll definitely refer many others. Thanks for a great experience! More
They basically tried to rip me off by trying to tell me the KBB retail value was $3000 higher than it was! When I called them on this they tried to tell me that the retail price came from Carfax, even thou the KBB retail value was $3000 higher than it was! When I called them on this they tried to tell me that the retail price came from Carfax, even though the Carfax report clearly stated that it was up to the dealer to research the retail price and the add it to the Carfax report manually! Frankie my sales guy got his manager Gordon Williams who said to me and I quote "I'm not taking a bullet on this one!" and later proceeded to tell me that he had "ripped Frankie a new one!" for trying this trick. Needless to say I haggled good and hard from then on and got the price I wanted to pay for this used truck only to drive it home and the next day discover that there is a large crack in the dashboard on the passenger side. Now I know I bought this vehicle "As is" but I strongly felt that this crack should have been pointed out to me before I purchased the vehicle as the vehicle was sold to me as in excellent condition. I contacted the dealership and had a return call from Mick Roderick who stated that it was not covered under any warranty, but would see what he could do if I emailed him some pics of the damage. This I did and I also added a short message telling Rick that I felt that this was not a warranty issue but a disclosure and basically an honesty thing, as there is absolutely no way that the detail shop could not have discovered this crack when the truck was cleaned and detailed for resale...I stated to him that I was more interested in the mechanical operation of the vehicle during the test drive, and that I should expect some honesty as to the condition of the truck to come from the salesman. As previously stated I got a good price on the truck and being informed of this defect would not have prevented me from buying the truck. I am still awaiting a call back 3 days after I emailed the pictures to Rick. When I first tried to haggle on the price, Frankie kept telling me that I was getting not only a vehicle but also joining a kind of family and that the truck was checked and rechecked to make sure it was spot on for me and the price reflected this. I now find this almost humorous after the whole sales experience. I understand the pressure these guys are under to make profit for the dealership but they should not be sacrificing honesty for dollar signs! More
We are extremely unhappy about our experience with Elk Grove Dodge Chrysler Jeep. We have bought cars from Carmax and private sellers and absolutely regret coming to your dealership because of the experience we had. The main selling point for the vehicle we bought was the fact that it was a "certified" vehicle. Meaning, it was inspected by two different mechanics, two separate times for 12 hours minimum each time so this is pretty much like getting a brand new car. During the test drive I noticed the check engine light was on, I told the salesman and the runner and they both said it was probably just a loose gas cap or something when it was power washed. If it was me trying to sell the vehicle I would have had the vehicle checked right then and there just to verify it wasn't anything to be alarmed about but your sales team just shrugged it off like it didn't matter at all and we were stupid enough to put our trust into them and believe the BS that they were telling us. After a day of having the vehicle the light was still on so we brought it back, come to find out there was a big problem which took a week to fix. Wasn't just a sensor that came loose or the gas cap, they had to replace the whole left cylinder head because there was 80% leakage past #2 exhaust valve. the service member told us that they are doing us a favor so all this stuff going wrong with our "brand new" car shouldnt be that big of deal and we shouldn't be upset!!! We drove with our kids in the car! The salesman never ever told us anything about the car he didnt show us the features or anything the only thing he did was answer the question we had about the sirius XM radio. They told us we would get 1 year of Sirius XM radio but when we contacted Sirius they told us it was only three months! As it already is we had to ask for the dvd player remote, the headphones we had to order a owners manual! The car had none of this in there and when we asked where it all was at they had no idea and were lucky enough to just happen to find a box of extra headphones and remote from 2 years ago that they gave us and expected us to be grateful and happy that they just so happend to "find" it and give it to us when its not our fault it was missing these pieces to a brand new car THEY just sold us!Again They didn't show us any of the features of the car AT ALL, we have been playing the guessing game since getting it back. every single person we talked to about our experience told us they were doing us a favor and we should be grateful for ALL they have done it was absolutely horrible and disrespectful to us! We highly regret buying a car from you guys and have already advised people to NEVER EVER even consider going there for a car it was the worst customer service we have ever experienced! We are so upset that it all went down this way and still to this day not one person has actually apologized for the horrible experience. We are still in shock of it all and how much of a horrible experience it was and sadly we cant even enjoy our car because it was just a traumatizing experience it was our first real time buying a car at a dealership and it was the worst ever.
