Automotive in Attleboro, MA. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership with a 30-day warranty. Exactly two weeks after the warranty expired, both the alternator and the battery failed. Because the warranty period had lapsed, I retained an independent, certified mechanic to perform the necessary repairs. During a subsequent inspection regarding a non-functional windshield washer fluid system, my mechanic discovered a much deeper issue. The entire electrical wiring framework required to power the washer pump had been completely stripped out of the vehicle. Operating a vehicle without a functioning windshield fluid mechanism is a severe safety hazard, and selling a car with missing safety-critical electrical components points to either gross negligence or deliberate concealment. When I initiated contact via text to resolve this, the representative, Majid, explicitly stated he would assist me. However, the moment I requested his phone number to finalize a resolution the following day, he abruptly blocked my number. I successfully contacted him through alternative means, at which point he engaged in a series of contradictory, bad-faith arguments to evade liability: * He claimed he would have covered the initial alternator repair had it been done at his shop, but used my independent repair as a loophole to deny assistance. * When I proposed a compromise where he merely reimburse the cost of the parts—offering to absorb the labor costs myself—he refused, citing his "corporate account" pricing. * When I asked him to reimburse me at that lower corporate rate, he again refused. * Most egregiously, when I emphasized that a stripped electrical system for a safety feature is a major liability, his dismissive response was simply, "the wipers work." * He eventually offered to repair the pump, but conditional upon a $100 deductible, requiring me to transport the vehicle over 50 miles away, and surrender it for an unspecified duration. Majid’s shifting excuses demonstrate that his restrictions were not a matter of financial or corporate inability, but a deliberate refusal to act in good faith. His dismissive, patronizing, and evasive conduct felt distinctly targeted, and it is highly improbable that a male customer presenting a documented safety violation would have been subjected to this level of disrespect and evasion. I strongly advise prospective buyers to take their business elsewhere More
