I made a $500 deposit on a car only to get call after call from the salesperson that the car has been delayed. Eventually the car was delayed to only a few days before I had planned to move out of state. call from the salesperson that the car has been delayed. For example, I was first told a delivery date of June 10th, then the next call I received about a delay, she said the original delivery date was June 20th. This happened more than once. In the end I bought from another dealer. I asked this dealer to refund my deposit. I texted the salesperson several times asking whether they had sent me a check with the refund. She ignored my texts, which I know because she had "read receipts" enabled, so I could see that she read them and didn't respond. Finally, I threatened to take them to small claims court. It was only after that that I got my refund. All in all, it was an atrocious experience. More
