VERY slow to process everything. We were in the dealership for about 5 hours. Our salesman was terrific and very helpful. My experience with this dealership has been bumpy over the years. The issue has been with the genesis service primarily. The employee’s aren’t trained to deal with genesis customers honestly & the valet s the years. The issue has been with the genesis service primarily. The employee’s aren’t trained to deal with genesis customers honestly & the valet service experience really isn’t as nice or convenient as genesis promises. I shouldn’t have to explain to the employees the service details. I don’t like when u call with a (manufacture or Mechanical issues) that is certainly a prematurely failing component the service dept tells you “ That may not be covered and we can fix it but we’d have to charge you”…..meanwhile I’m driving a new car, very low millage, no accidents, full warranty active…what’s the benefit of a new car if that’s the treatment when something fails. So far in 3yrs this dealership has 1 person I’d recommend in service & that's Steve Hausman. He’s very responsive, he’s professional & mature. Unfortunately 1 good employee after 3yrs isn’t enough to recommend this dealership (Yet). I hope they continue to improve. More
Steve Hansen was very helpful in getting me out quickly of the service department and was very personable. He understood that my time was limited and made sure to push my car ahead of others. My experience at the New Rochelle Hyundai service center was absolutely exceptional, customer service reps such as Steve Hausman takes the hassle out of getting your car serviced.
