Manufacturers Flaw on Brake Light The brake lights in the back of the car had a manufacturers default. The lights needed to be changed numerous times and the socket was burnt. The en The brake lights in the back of the car had a manufacturers default. The lights needed to be changed numerous times and the socket was burnt. The entire light fixture needed to be changed. The bumper to bumper warranty did not cover the repair since we had just completed 5 years of owning the car and the balance of the 10 year warranty covers only motor, transmission and a few other major parts. This was disappointing. The customer service agent worked with us but there was still a payment of almost 400.00 that needed to be made. If you have this issue please call Hyundai and place a complaint. If many people complain there will be a recall and everyone can be reimbursed. Also, this is dangerous as the socket was burnt and could have caused a fire. More
