I own a 2017 Jeep Compass but they aren’t any Jeep dealership near by so I decided to try this dealership. This was the first time I ever got my vehicle service at a different brand dealership. My service advisor Krystal made this experience pleasant, she was very attentive and gave me update every few mins to let me know how my vehicle was coming along till the very end. So if you are looking for a great experience In the service department make sure to ask for Krystal and the tech did a great job as well 5 star rating all around. More

NO WAY! Go anywhere else! Terrible! DONT GO HERE IF YOURE NEEDING WARRANTY FULFILLMENT! THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH IF YOURE NOT SPENDING MONEY!! I have a 2010 Maxima with Terrible! DONT GO HERE IF YOURE NEEDING WARRANTY FULFILLMENT! THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH IF YOURE NOT SPENDING MONEY!! I have a 2010 Maxima with 93k miles and a failed CVT, Nissans site CLEARLY states “2003-2010 Vehicles equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) also have a 10-year /120,000 mile CVT limited warranty extension.” yet for some reason NICOLE TRONCOSO was unable to confirm that I was in fact in warranty, and kept mentioning that she was only familiar with this programs fulfillment with Nissan Rogues. I went on Saturday 12/29/18- she says that their records only go back 7 years and since my car was 8 years old she would have to contact Nissan Consumer Affairs to have them “Unlock my VIN”. She said they were closed on Saturday (LIE) and anticipated them being closed Monday 12/31 as well as Tuesday 1/1/19 so she would call Wednesday. I, being unfamiliar with the whole of it acquiesced. Wednesday came I received no contact from her letting me know she had contacted them so I called, got a message from her through someone else because she wouldn’t come to the phone- the VIN wouldn’t be unlocked for 24 hours (she gave me that expectation that past Saturday but it would’ve been nice to be informed that the ball was rolling at least- anyway). I gave an extra 24 hours and called back Friday, was transferred to her desk phone and answering machine. Left a message just stating I was looking for an update. I WAS NEVER CALLED BACK!! This last date I tried to speak with Nicole was 1/4/19 after being snubbed by her, I went to Lynne’s Nissan in Bloomfield. My car is still being worked on but they have made the process so easy, should be done today (Saturday) and I just dropped it off Tuesday. I HAVE WASTED SO MUCH TIME WITH NICOLE AND RT 22 NISSAN!!! I HAD TO PAY FOR A RENTAL CAR TO GET TO WORK FOR THIS EXTENDED TIME! WASTED NINE WORKING DAYS (not including the holiday or Sundays). The only call I received was from Pate, a woman with their affiliate Rt 22 Honda (where I purchased the car) this woman was xxxx bent on getting me to trade in the car and buy another!!! Even after I TOLD her the warranty would cover my damage! She goes on to say that she “doesn’t think it makes sense to spend so much on such an old car” I said “Spend what! It’s covered i won’t be spending anything”. She apparently wasn’t listening and just wanted to lure in a sale (I guess so they could get the car fixed under warranty themselves and resell to someone else) and when I accused her of trying to rope in a sale she scoffed at me and said she wasn’t in sales (fun fact: the only reason I was in contact with Pate initially was because I called Rt 22 Honda earlier that day [absent knowledge of warranty coverage] Pate answered, and I asked to speak with sales- and she said she was with sales and could help) disgusting. But this isn’t about Pate, though she did call me back a few days ago “To follow up” I’m sure that was just to see if I got it fixed yet or not to see if she could secure a sale— it’s about NICOLE TRONCOSO who wasted soooo much of my time, money and energy by extending this process just because she didn’t want to do it. Like I said, if you’re getting warranty fulfillment go somewhere else. And on that note, if you’re looking to purchase a new or used car GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!! THEY’LL TREAT YOU NICELY AT FIRST BUT ONCE YOURE OUT OF SALES THEYLL TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP!!!! When I walked in I was greeted so fairly, offered refreshments etc until I made it clear I wasn’t shopping, rather I was looking to get my car serviced for free as indicated in the Nissan Guarantee. Along the way I spoke to Consumer Affairs, a young lady named Zoe, she was super nice and made me feel at ease throughout the process. Lynne’s Nissan again is great (chose them because they’re close to where I live) super professional, and quick. I don’t know how I would go about reporting Nicole Troncoso from Route 22 but when I find out how to formally do so I will. Thanks for reading my rant. I really didn’t mean to carry on like this. Once I got there they told me I had to pay, because it’s only free if you do all recommended maintenance through them. Which of course the sales guys don’t tell you when they sell you the car. They just make it seem like it’s free forever. So now they spring that on me and tell me an oil change is going to be some rediculous amount amount of money, about 3 times what they charge at a lube shop. Even so, I had actually done all my recommended maintenance through them. The first guy gets all snippy with me when I politely try to argue. Clearly he just wants me to give up and pay. They keep saying I declined some maintence item they recommended, which I didn’t. So they get the manager and he checks my record. “Oh yeah, looks like you have done all our recommended maintenance. So you do get a free oil change.” No explanation of why they were trying to charge me before. They just made a ‘mistake’. The way these slimy service sales guys treat you will give you the creeps. The are worse than the used car sales guys. You’ll feel dirty from just interacting with them. They are looking for every opportunity to scam you. Oh yeah, and the cashier lady will ignore you until she decides to acknowledge your existence. Then she’ll act so put out that she has to do her job and take your credit card to pay your bill. Do yourself a favor and go find a small shop and do your maintenance through them. They have a reputation to keep, so they won’t try to rip you off. More
