We found this sort of honesty at a car dealership to be quite refreshing. (Plus, she laughed at all of my husbands jokes.) We "crunched the numbers" with Tony Calamia and after spirited negotiations, we left feeling we got a fair price for our new Rav 4. We would definitely buy another car here and from the same dealers! Most definitely the best experience I've ever had buying a new car. Upon entering Vijay approached me in a friendly and professional manner. I told him what I was looking for. He was not pushy or trying to sell me things I did not want. He was warm and friendly to my 5 year old and gave her lots of cookies to keep her happy. He even gave her a cookie bag to take home. He absolutely went that extra mile to make us feel comfortable and secure with purchasing a car from Huntington Toyota. When it was time for the pricing, Tony Calamia was helping out. I had previously done my research so I knew the price I wanted to spend. They matched the price and pretty much it was a done deal. In less than an hour I was signing for a new car. How easy was that? Vijay called several times while we were waiting for them to locate the car, so I always felt that my business was important and being handled. They located the car very quickly. I went to pick up the car yeaterday, and again Vijay and Tony were wonderful. They answered all of my questions and were professional and friendly. More cookies.....my daughter wants to always buy our cars from Vijay. I would absolutely recommend buying a car from Huntington and I will be giving them more business in the future. I will refer friends withought a thought as I know they will be taken care of. My 17 year old is thrilled that she will have a car for her senior year and my 13 year old is excited to be next one day. An update to my review from earlier today- I spoke with Megan twice since and she apologized for the experience we had last night. Megan will call us if that, or a similar vehicle, is located. Also, I received an email from Rose, the Customer Care Manager. She also apologized for what happened last night and made clear that the dealership and David have excellent ratings and that this was a miscommunication. As I wrote previously- I have no doubt that his words came out the wrong way but his intentions were good. To be hit with all of that in one single visit was a bit much. The question as to why the web site said there was a warranty for this certified car when it was not certified and there was no warranty has not yet been answered to my satisfaction but that may come in the future. I do commend Megan and Rose for their efforts today and the excellent service. I am singling out Megan for service above and beyond- for superior service. We'll see where this goes but let me say that some of the bitter taste from last night has been removed. More
