Friendly people I had a good experience with Ewald, my salesman Reid, came in on his day off to accommodate my schedule (I was an out of state customer) and although I had a good experience with Ewald, my salesman Reid, came in on his day off to accommodate my schedule (I was an out of state customer) and although I had to wait a while for another customer to finish with their financing, Reid and the receptionist Tammy kept me entertained with fun conversation and a little history on the dealership. I do however have one complaint that I don’t feel affects the score I gave for my overall experience, Ewald will add on a percentage to your interest rate from the bank.. I don’t know wether this is common practice as this is the first time I didn’t secure financing before I went to a dealership, but I don’t agree with this practice, and I felt it was deceiving that they wouldn’t be straight foreword about doing it. BUYER BEWARE!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Let me start off by noting that I have previously purchased a few vehicles from Ewald Chevrolet Buick & NEVER had a problem. My most recent experienc Let me start off by noting that I have previously purchased a few vehicles from Ewald Chevrolet Buick & NEVER had a problem. My most recent experience with their salesman Matt Warren, however, was unequivocally the nastiest I have ever gone through. I honestly wish there was the option to give a rating of ZERO stars. Out of all my car buying experiences, I have never encountered such ABYSMAL customer service by a car salesman. From the very beginning Mr. Warren appeared annoyed at… well… DOING HIS JOB. You might think that since part of his income is based off commission, he would make the effort to conduct himself professionally & provide appropriate customer service, but that was NEVER the case. Throughout my entire visit he displayed absolutely no interest at selling a car & refused to entertain any negotiations whatsoever. Afterwards, I attempted to reach out to Mr. Warren with some questions, but I never heard back!!! How does he expect to generate any business if he won’t even COMMUNICATE with potential customers??? I have never, in my entire life, been so appalled & disgusted by a salesman’s behavior. Is it that hard, Ewald Chevrolet Buick, to hire competent & responsible sales individuals? At the very least, try to do a better job at ensuring that employees like your salesman Matt Warren are not only attentive & care about promoting your product, but are also capable to respectfully communicate with customers. Because there are plenty of other auto dealers in Southeastern Wisconsin that provide exemplary service & deserve a customer’s $$$ in return. I eventually purchased a truck a few days ago, but NOT from Ewald Chevrolet Buick, and they can thank Matt Warren for that. He was without a doubt the most disrespectful & incompetent car salesman I have ever dealt with. I hope that sharing my atrocious experience provides beneficial information for any prospective customers. I, nor anyone in my family, will EVER return as a customer. More
