My wife and I just purchased a new 2012 Outback from Exeter Subaru. We visited this dealership for the first time about 2 weeks ago to check out the Outbacks. A very friendly salesman, John Webster int Exeter Subaru. We visited this dealership for the first time about 2 weeks ago to check out the Outbacks. A very friendly salesman, John Webster introduced himself and answered all of our questions. We went out for a test ride and he very adequately explained all of the controls and workings of the vehicle. We left there with a good feeling about the experience. We returned to the dealer on Christmas eve. Jim, the manager introduced himself and evaluated our trade in. We settled on a price for the car and arranged to pick it up today. Everyone at the dealer was very friendly and helpful. It is an unusual dealership that has a very informal and friendly atmosphere. I was told that they don't hire sales people who have sold cars before. My wife and I found the entire experience much more pleasant and relaxed than we have had in the past from other car dealers. I would definitely purchase another car from these people. More

Christina Lydon was very helpful as he listened to our needs. He spent a lot of time with us helping to find a car that fitted in our budget and needs. He was very respectful and very knowledgeable of the Subaru brand. He answered all our questions, was very easier to work with, and never lost sight of our goal. We finally purchased our 4th Subaru and the sale experience was much better than our previous ones at other Subaru dealerships. It was a pleasure to do business with Christian. We highly recommend asking for Christian Lydon next time you visit Exeter Subaru. We did not rate price great because we felt we could have done better than what we paid. More

John Webster was extremely knowledgable and patient during our sales visit. We had done a lot of research to determine a fair price and Exeter Subaru was willing to work with us to meet other dealershi during our sales visit. We preferred to work with John and the sales process was above average in terms of our prior expereiences. There were some glitches when we went to pick the car up but Exeter Suburu and John made things right immediately including a new model loaner vehicle. On Christmas Eve day, my old Suburu became inoperable. I had planned to rent a car and spend the week after Christmas looking for a replacement vehicle. However, I went online to view available vehicles at various dealerships in the area; the Suburu dealership in Stratham displayed their entire stock rather than just a few. I saw one I liked, we drove to Exeter and met Larry Days, a FABULOUS, low key salesman. After looking at the car I liked, as we drove away my husband commented that, "even if we don't get the car you want, let's buy something from Larry. I like those guys." We ended up buying the car I wanted and having transportation within 24 hours. Everyone we dealt with were knowledgeable, friendly and we felt no pressure into getting something we didn't want. I would highly recommend this place if you need a new car. More

I came into the Exeter dealership knowing I needed a new car but not really confident in what I needed. I was approached by John who was very personable and knowledgeable. Our son wanted to buy his first car and so we took him to Exeter Subaru. We have had many positive experiences in the past and so it was very natural for us to go visit their dealership. Larry met us a Exeter Subaru. We have had many positive experiences in the past and so it was very natural for us to go visit their dealership. Larry met us at the door with a smile, handshake and introduced himself to us. We sat down with him and he asked our son some questions about his needs for a car that would be best for him, ie. milage traveling to work, etc. Larry had a book on his desk that shared his story of how he came to Exeter Subaru. It made us feel more comfortable with him as we felt like we knew something about him and his background. He has a son about our son's age, so that was another commonality that made us feel more at ease. Our son had been on-line and picked out a car he thought he might like to check out. Larry was very willing to show our son the car but was also willing to walk the lot with us and look at other vehicles as well. Our son decided on a decided on a 2001 red convertible sportscar that was a manual transmission. Our son had never owned a manual but had a little bit of experience driving them. Larry never discouraged him from the car and was encouraging towards his decision. He really wanted the car but didn't want to have a car payment. Larry and the sales manager were able to work with our son to make it happen. In the end our son was able to pay cash and is very happy to own his first car he bought himself. Our son feels a lot of pride in his purchase. Even though he is very young, Larry was very respectful and understanding to him, even when our son was a little frustrated with minor details. I'm grateful that Exeter Subaru is a place where my whole family can go and feel comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend Exeter Subaru to anyone looking for a car, young or....not so young :) More
