I had been considering a Subaru for some time, but had avoided heading out to the car dealership because I didn't want to feel bullied into a sale. My car buying experience with Ryan Kelly at Exeter Suba avoided heading out to the car dealership because I didn't want to feel bullied into a sale. My car buying experience with Ryan Kelly at Exeter Subaru, however, could not have been more enjoyable. From the moment I entered the showroom, I experienced a comfortable atmosphere with a friendly vibe. Ryan took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking for, and brought the car around front(that I would end up going home with that night) for a test drive. The test drive was very enjoyable - it was nice to experience how the car handled while making friendly conversation instead of having a sales pitch jammed down my throat. Ryan was very knowledgeable & showed me a few features inside & out that I was not even aware of. He also mentioned that Exeter offers tires for life if you have your car serviced there. When we arrived back at the dealership, I knew the car was a perfect fit. While the financing and my trade-in value was being worked out, Ryan ordered us some subs for delivery since it was late afternoon and we were both hungry. We ate and talked about our hobbies & interests, and soon enough the numbers were ready. I mentioned what I was targeting for a payment range, and was pleasantly surprised that we were able to work out a payment on the lower end pretty easily. Before I knew it, I was signing the papers. Even though we closed the sale after hours, I never felt rushed. Ryan took the time to go through and explain the key details of my new ride & filled up the gas tank. He even helped me set up initial features such as syncing my phone with the integrated bluetooth controls before I left the lot & told me to call anytime with questions. Ryan also followed up with me a few days later and had an appointment set up to have my car cleaned & inspected since I left the lot after hours. Overall, this was the most fun I have ever had buying a car. Ryan made sure it was a friendly & stress-free experience for me, and I am so glad I was able to buy my first Subaru from Exeter. I am even excited about getting my car serviced so I can try out the cozy leather chairs & laptops with free wifi for customer use! More

Purchased new 2011 Forester, trading in a 2009 leased Forester. Fourth Forester to date, but first time dealing with Exeter Subaru. Easy sale for them as we knew exactly what we wanted. They willingly matched a quote we had from another dealer and also included a couple of options that were on the vehcile at cost. John Webster is very enjoyable and professional to deal with. We also bought an extended maintenance contract for 3 years, 45,000 miles so will be having our (prepaid) servicing done at Exeter Subaru. We also were able to use the $500 coupion towards the purchase that was part of a prior maintenance contract. Overall, the least painful/most enjoyable car purchase that we have had since Jon Dietz sold Portland Volvo. We plan to be on-going Exeter Subaru and John Webster customers. More

I have bought a new car before at different dealerships and have found it to be a very stressful and intimidating experience. This was NOT the case with Ryan at Exeter Subaru. I found Ryan to be extremely energetic and genuinely enthusiastic about the vehicle I was interested in. Ryan was very helpful and patient with my indecisiveness and expressed an understanding attitude towards the fact that this was a big decision for me. I did not feel intimidated or pressured once by him, which made the deal for me. I felt like I was able to talk to him about my stressors in buying a new car, which was not something I felt comfortable with in my previous experiences. I will absolutely come back and recommend my friends/family to him. I was mostly impressed that he stayed late hours on his day off, which happened to be his birthday! Job well done. :) More

Ryan was absolutely great to work with! I initially found the car I was looking for online, but when I arrived I was immediately sold on it. He stayed late to help us finalize everything (twice!) and followed up with me after the sale to make sure that everything was working out well. He was not only a great salesperson, but treated us like friends while we were there. We discovered that we had a lot of common interests which made us feel more confident that we were in the right place looking at the right vehicle. My husband and I were very pleased with our experience there and left with the perfect car for us. More
