Once on this latest passenger side airbag recall. Both times they damaged the dash as they took it out and reinstalled it. And the damage they did was obvious. They just ignored what they did and hoped we wouldn't see it. And they refuse to make it good. Also got some dangerous advice from the service advisor who allowed us to drive the car off the lot with the Airbag light on not knowing that if the sensor was bad that the airbags would not deploy in an accident. Won't but another car there. Won't take my car there for Service. Buyer beware!!!! More
Poor service for minorities I went to this dealership a couple of times - as did some of my friends (also minorities) - and we got poor service each time. I was ignored and/or treated rudely or curtly by the service people. However, I noticed they treated the white customers differently and better. I don't know, maybe the service people were having a bad day or something, or maybe they just have their own favorite 'kinds." Whatever their deal is, I ain't coming back. More
Service appoitment I took my Outback in for a 12.000 mile checkup. Great work! Took my truck to Fairway after an accident. The front end was pretty bad when I took it in. The repair work they did was outstanding. This dealer is the worst I have ever seen! I took my vehicle to them for their "expert advice" only to find out they are not experts at all. I ended up forking out $600.00 just to find out what was wron vehicle to them for their "expert advice" only to find out they are not experts at all. I ended up forking out $600.00 just to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. Long story short, they NEVER did find out what was wrong with it, but ended up costing me more and more money until (after a year) finding someone who was honest and knew right what to do. I do not have time to write a full review, but I do intend on writing more. Please trust me until I have time to finish my story... Fairway Ford will not only rip you off, but their not professional or knowledgeable at all! It's sad I had to pay them to trouble shoot and do guess work on my vehicle. Please be aware that the "good reviews" you are reading are probably not from real people, but from fairway them self writing their own reviews. I know way to many people who have had problems with this place and they are glad to rip you off and leave you with the same problems you paid them to fix! More
After having spent the winter in Tampa, It is such a JOY to be able to come back to Fairway Ford!! My Explorer just seems to smile as I pull in for service. Marshall treats me with priority service and go to be able to come back to Fairway Ford!! My Explorer just seems to smile as I pull in for service. I came in for a 5,000 mile maintenance service- there were some changes made since my previous visit- I was greeted promptly by Marshall- my information taken- I was informed about the maintenance schedu were some changes made since my previous visit- I was greeted promptly by Marshall- my information taken- I was informed about the maintenance schedules which was helpful- I decided what I needed and gave the go ahead- I then had to go to a meeting so I utilized the complimentary shuttle service- the driver Brad was very knowledgeable about Ford service and products as well as Greenville and its many activities to enjoy- you'd think he was a concierge!- my meeting finished up quicker than I anticipated so I returned earlier than discussed expecting to wait- my car was parked right in front- completed to my surprise!- Marshall stepped out and escorted me to the cashier answering any questions I had on the way- the cashier couldn't have been nicer- no one Likes to bring their car in for service- but let me say- I left Fairway that day smiling- good employees who care Really make a difference... More
