Awesome, no-pressure sale -- thanks, Lance Cote! My wife and I have been utilizing our credit union's car buying service for the past three months to research and find a used Honda CR-V or Civic for My wife and I have been utilizing our credit union's car buying service for the past three months to research and find a used Honda CR-V or Civic for our teenage sons to share, but every time we came close to finding the "right" vehicle, it seemed to sell quickly. We found a 2002 Honda CR-V through the buying service earlier this week at Farrish Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram that seemed to fit our needs well, so my wife called the dealership to inquire about the vehicle's availability and was fortunate enough to connect with Mr. Lance Cote. Lance not only provided my wife with the basic details of the CR-V over the phone, but encouraged us to stop by this evening for a test drive. At no time over the phone, nor when we arrived at the dealership for a test drive of the CR-V, did Lance ever pressure us or pull some of the "standard" lines or tricks that some car salesmen use that ultimately make you feel like you need to take a shower when you leave the dealership. We were encouraged to take the CR-V for a test drive and to "kick the tires" to our heart's content. Lance Cote is one of the best sales professionals I've worked with -- he's knowledgeable, personable, motivated, a former Marine (HOO-AH!), and just a generally AWESOME guy to do business with. I felt throughout the entire transaction that Lance was working WITH us, and not just for the dealership and for that, I would bring my business back to Farrish in a heartbeat to do business with this young man and this organization. In fact, *everyone* we came into contact with at Farrish Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram made us feel welcome and worked with us in a low-key, efficient and completely no-pressure way. A few car dealerships out there tend to give the ENTIRE industry a bad name -- but I can testify that Farrish Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is doing it right, and doing it successfully. Good used car purchasing experience! I was in the DC area returning from a conference and I wanted to look at a used Mercedes-Benz that this dealership had in-stock that I found on Auto T I was in the DC area returning from a conference and I wanted to look at a used Mercedes-Benz that this dealership had in-stock that I found on Auto Trader. I started the first visit with Joey, inspected the vehicle and returned to the office. Since I was a cash buyer, there was no back-end negotiation or trade, basically just the price of the vehicle out the door. My initial offer was submitted to Stan the sales manager by Joey, and after about 20 minutes of back & forth and then a face-to-face with Stan, I didn't accept the dealership's final offer to me. We pleasently parted company and I returned home. About 5 days later I received a follow-up EMAIL from Lance Cote, another salesman at Farrish in follow-up to my store visit, this was accompanied by a subsequent phone call. We ended up doing an over-the-phone negotiation just prior to the Memorial Day weekend and I received another $500 off the dealership's best offer I had in-person. At that point, I decided to purchase the vehicle. So, I did a fly-n-drive from Florida to Virginia. I flew into Dulles at a pre-arranged date/time, Lance picked me up in his POV and we went to the dealership. Processing took appx. 45 minutes, and once the vehicle was paid & ready I drove back to Florida on a full tank of Diesel provided by Farrish. Lance was a very motivated salesman, and truly worked for the customer to get the best possible price on the sale. I skipped a lot of the normal dealer haggling process by being a cash buyer, having no trade, and not purchasing optional services or extended warranty package. The vehicle I purchased had a 90-day, 3,000 mile warranty, my extended warranty will come from AAA who uses Mercury. This dealership had a unique vehicle in stock that was worth travelling for, and the overall experience could have been much worse by far. Everyone I spoke with was courteous, professional, and non high-pressure. All in all I had a good buying experience with Farrish and yes, I'd recommend them to another purchaser in a second. More

Initially in searching for the perfect dealership to work with, I was very anxious because a good portion of the dealerships in our area are overly pushy and only after their agenda. I knew exactly the car I wanted and what price point I was comfortable paying, in no way was I looking forward to convincing a salesman of that. I utilized a car buying service to obtain a guaranteed price and was immediately connected to the team at Farrish as well as two other dealers. Immediately I was inundated with emails and calls. Not only did Farrish not cyber stalk me, my first contact with Stacie was beautiful. When I emailed her that I wasn't certain when I could discuss the car I was looking at due to my work schedule she said "Not a problem, I know that we can overwhelm customers with contact. You just let me know when I can help you." I knew this was the person I wanted to deal with. I'd already done the footwork to research cars and she knew that if I was serious about purchasing I'd circle back - - and I did. Stacie was wonderful. She came in on her day off to help me make my purchase so I wouldn't be pushed off on another consultant. Does it make her numbers look good to make the sale? Of course! But it also made me feel very comfortable to speak/work with the same person throughout the entire process. She answered all of my financing and vehicle questions quickly and via email, which was wonderful because doing so allowed me to multi-task my purchase alongside with my regular workflow during office hours. By the time my Fiancee and I came in at 6:30pm on a wet wet wet and rainy Thursday night, she knew every detail about me and what would make me happy with my purchase. She had the team at Farrish move as quickly as possible to get my trade-in evaluated and financing worked through so we didn't have to be there until midnight. While I didn't get MY ideal monthly payment, the end result was just a smidge over what I was aiming for. I left that night factoring that little bit extra as a convenience fee for the excellent service I received. Not only did I get the exact car I wanted, I wasn't pushed into features/options/costs that I was uncomfortable with. I'm already a life-long Jeep owner, but I'm now a loyal Farrish customer. I told the dealer what I wanted and how much i could afford and they worked it out without trying to up sell or otherwise get me to spend more then I wanted. At Farrish, I dealt with Stacie who was honest and straight forward. Basically no bs. Financing went smoothly too with Mimi. They both took their time to explain everything, but did not draw out the buying process. I admit there were busy that day, but still the sale went fairly quickly. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. Great car buying experience! More

I have been reserching Jeeps since early 2013 and shopping since Febuary 2014. i have been to at least 5 different dealerships and talked to so many people i can't count. Then I happened abon Ferrish in Fairfax and a sales rep Stacie Wakefield. What a breath of fresh air she is. For the first time a sales rep was interested in what i wanted and not what they wanted to push me into. Stacie made me feal like we had known each other all our lives and was going to help me with my needs whatever it took. I also meet the sales manager she worked for and he also made me feel that he was there for me not i am there for him. If you need to buy a new Jeep of any kind I highly suggest you check this company out. Not only did they meet my budget restrictions they were able to meet and exceed my wish list for my new Rubicon. I found she was extremely knowledgeable in Jeep Wranglers and not because she just sold them but because she also owned them. I had researched the vehicle for over a month and within the first 10 minutes in speaking with Stacie I learned several new things. At every step she was personable and very friendly. It was buying a vehicle from a old friend rather then a typical sales person. She brought over the sales manager to help with a few questions before I left for the day to think about the decision. Again, no pressure and no follow up phone calls as I requested. It was an easy decision to return the next day and buy my new vehicle from her. I would highly recommend speaking with her if your looking to make the process easy and non stressful. More
