Where do used cars get detailed prior to getting placed on display for sale? The dealership, of course! I find that they do a better job than detaik shops for LESS than detail shop.. Not every dealer thou on display for sale? The dealership, of course! I find that they do a better job than detaik shops for LESS than detail shop.. Not every dealer though. Farrish brought my 17 Dodge Charger back to almost the first day when I bought it. Those annoying light scratches on the sides of the car were gone.. GONE,! Wash and wax on the outside and the interior is showroom worthy, with all leather (and there is a lot of it) treated properly. I parted with my car for a day and got back into a beautiful like new car. Well done! See you in 6 months! More

I initially had three concerns: a large cracking noise from the suspension in the front end, a blown-out speaker, and a rear tail light that had moisture in it. In the process of dropping my vehicle off, the novice "tech", not a service advisor, said that EACH issue I had with the vehicle would be a subjectiven to their $210 plus diagnosis fee, which is absurd on its own. I told him to forget the speaker since I would buy one on my own, but to investigate the safety issue and replace the tail light with a brand new tail light I provided them, along with the severe cracking from the suspension. I was assigned a female advisor due to their inability to deal with female customers who "know cars" to mitigate any interaction with their male staff. This practice demonstrates and accentuates the culture of the dealership, which is solely to steal from woman-owned vehicles and to increase the likelihood of a woman purchasing unnecessary work. Not to mention being completely anti-women. Once they diagnosed the vehicle incorrectly, they deemed my vehicle "safe" and said the suspension cracking noise was gone by "lubricating the steering column". En route to the dealer, the advisor (female) pulled my vehicle and noticed the cracking noise in the front end was STILL present. In addition to the noise still being present, they completely ignored the light issue. They replaced my tail light with the new tail light I provided, which did NOT function properly and was partially illuminated, not meeting Virginia's standards for vehicular safety, and the noise in the suspension was still present. They did not let me know the light was not illuminated prior to arriving. At the end of my service visit, the light NEVER illuminated and I installed the original light, after paying 90 dollars. No advisor, tech, or director told me it was still not illuminating the LED lights. They let my jeep pass VA inspection with a partially illuminated light. If they had let me know my provided light was not working, I would have opted to get an OEM light to get the problem fixed. They did NO such thing. Separately, they claimed the suspension issue was from my front brakes, however, they had done a free "MPI" in addition to the diag fee for that specific issue and said my front brakes were in the green, meaning there were no issues, even with the "diag" of the suspension, which costs over 200. I left my vehicle with them for another day and was sent inarticulate text messages that they identified the noise but could not proceed unless they replaced my front brakes at 1k, and then do yet another "diag" to figure out the cracking. They declined to further investigate the security issue with the cracking suspension unless I paid to replace for the front brakes, which they deemed in the green. so I declined their offer. They didn't mention calipers until after several incoherent texts, and I was done with the incompetency right then. This issue still exists, but the advisor could not get any more money from me, so they gave me a proper attitude. In the end, the issues were not fixed, and still are present, potentially endangering the community. They claimed otherwise. The dealership is not only costing customers excessive diag costs at their profit, but not providing any solutions and demanding extra money on top of it. This is thievery and they should be investigated for the benefit of my community. I would highly recommend NOT going to this dealership for anything, let alone any security issues you have regarding any type of vehicle. They are NOT in it for the customer's benefit or security, solely for the monetary profit of innocent civilians in our community. The Farrish family should be aware of these issues present in their dealerships, and I would like to personally send them a letter letting them know. In conclusion, do NOT recommend the service department at this dealership. They are shady. More

Well I decided to try them again and it was 10x worse. First I made an appointment with their Express Lane Oil Change for 2 PM. Arrived 5 minutes early. This service is suppose to be 30 minutes (per FCA literature) but was advised it may be 1 hour to 90 minutes. They brought the car into a bay around the 1 hour mark. In the next hour, all that was done was the car was backed out and reparked in the bay again. When I went at the 2 hour mark to say that now could only get the oil and filter change and to cancel the tire rotation, they seem to finally work on my car. After about another 15 minutes, they seemed to have changed the oil and filter and brought it out. When I got the car, there was oil all over the outside door, inside door, and panels. I was running late but had to go back in to ask for a rag and degreaser. Walter ran to ask a technician to come out to clean it. He brought out a dirty rag and when he cleaned he was just spreading the oil around my inside door. So I told him to stop and that I would do it. He said “I am just trying to help”. After trying to clean with this rag, I had to go back in to ask for a clean rag. The best they could come up with was one that was less dirty. With that I got a lot of the big splotches out. But I now had degreaser all over my paint job. So I had to make a emergency run to my car detailer to get it washed and wiped down on the outside and inside to make sure my paint was preserved. This quick express service ended up costing me 3.5 hours and being late to my 5 PM event. Again no one seemed to care. They did the bare minimum. I still have worries that they did not perform the oil service properly. The crew of 3 doing oil changes seemed like they had no clue what they were doing. I watched them work on a RAM truck and Jeep Grand Cherokee before mine and they took forever to change oil or rotate tires and they seem to have to do things multiple times to get it right. This was an utter nightmare and still makes me anxious that my car is going to leak oil or they did not put the right grade or amount in. So I may have to go to another shop to get the oil changed again as my confidence in Farrish Express Service is nil. More

When I drove the vehicle in, it was operable but experienced electrical problems. They allegedly fixed the issue. I drove the car off the lot less than 2 miles. Car died. Called them back, recorded that car would not start. Offered to send them the recording. They said I needed to have it towed to their facility and depending on when the automobile arrived, they could look at it the same day but definitely the next day. Vehicle arrived. I walked around the vehicle and noticed there was a sideswipe on my bumper. I immediately notified the service manager, Dave. This man implied I did he damage, and made several offensive statements suggesting that he was implicitly bias and that I was predetermined to run some sort of a "hustle". In addition, he spoke over me, interrupted and made offensive gestures. BASICALLY, indentured me. Only AFTER I showed him the damage, he said that he did not want the vehicle on his premises and he did not know if he could look at my automobile despite a number being placed on the vehicle and the next day being set and the fact they are the only dealer in the area who could service the vehicle and I was stranded. The next day, I was available at 7:00 am for them to check the vehicle. By noon, they had not contacted me about the vehicle but had the Black man call me as an "intermediary". He was the scapegoat. The irony is the service manager stood across the Black man and essentially paroled what he was saying. What I considered intimidation. Clearly intimidation. I had to speak to the "Operations Manager" Fawad in order to get negotiate to have my vehicle repaired and he essentially notified me that he generally "calls the police" when he feels as if people are subjectively rude. Threat of law enforcement in VA as it relates to Black people is a clear sign that they are implicitly bias. What's interesting is that my automobile was accessed after hours and I was notify by my security company but they had no desire to call the police about that.... Interesting In summary, I had my automobile serviced there and I would strongly recommend that no one who is Black use them. The service manager, Dave is a rude Patriot and implied I scratched my own bumper after I showed them damage on my new vehicle while on their lot. After he demonstrated his implicit bias, using every stereotype he could conjure and essentially misled me, I reviewed footage of the damage happening on their lot. By the way, the vehicle is still experiencing the same issue. I do not think they repaired the vehicle. They did not perform a full electrical review and the vehicle stopped once before I left the lot as it did before. More

When I got home I asked them if they rotated the tires. They said sorry and never made an effort to fix it. I wouldn't go back there if they gave out free service. Wonder if they even changed my oil? I guess I'll start marking my oil filters as well. More
