10 years ago I bought a car through the Costco Auto Program. I was looking for a new CRV (which was the 4th Honda I was purchasing). I met Mitch Lesack at Keenan Honda. He was straight forward and honest in our dealings. I bought the CRV and continued to have the car serviced at Keenan for 10 years. With more highway driving in my future I decided to look for a new vehicle even though the 2011 would have taken through another few years. Fast forward 10 years. I called the sales department and inquired if Mitch was still working at Keenan. The answer was yes and I made an appointment to meet with him. Car buying during the pandemic is very different. We discussed options and I put down a deposit in May 2021 for a new CRV EXL Hybrid that would be built in the beginning of August and delivered by the end of the moth. I picked up my new CRV last week and Mitch spent an amazing amount of time going over the technology and electronics… it was overwhelming, but I successfully drove away and safely got home! I was so happy to have the opportunity to buy a second car from someone I knew and trusted. The only drawback in hindsight would be the trade-in – I would have sold it myself for a better price. Since I only purchase cars every 10 years, I might expect that Mitch may not be selling me my next car! Gotta love an honest salesman! More
