I brought my car in for first oil change which was free. The service rep added two recalls and a free car wash. Everything went well, was easy and car was done on time. Took truck in for warranty work. Told warranty expired 10 days earlier. Asked to check out abs, stabiltrac and traction control lights. Stated I did not need the engine light serviced as I will replace my o2 days earlier. Asked to check out abs, stabiltrac and traction control lights. Stated I did not need the engine light serviced as I will replace my o2 sensors. Service guy, asst service manager, could not even take the time to properly enter what I said into the service request. He entered lights on dashboard come on. That’s just lazy and not accurate for a tech to begin troubleshooting my requested item. I was called and told the o2 sensors are setting off the above break/rotation sensors related problem. I said I have never ever heard an o2 sensor setting off a break related issue. I was given a total BS excuse and I could come pick up the truck. I did and was charged about $150 for a tech to plug in a code reader and read o2 sensor faults. This is not even why I brought in the truck. The asst service manager was arrogant and insinuated I had no clue what I was talking about and then he said they had to fix the o2 before they could continue to the abs, traction control issue and it was $680 to replace two o2 sensors and o2 must be replaced to proceed. I said forget it and picked up my truck. I called the service manager and asked for a call back on the service received. That’s was over 2 weeks ago. No call back. So in summary…I took my truck in , you could not bother to type in what I wanted checked, refused to check what I asked for unless I did other service work and charged me $150 for a 3 min work time to plug in a code reader. I am requesting a refund of the service since you did not check what I asked for and is something Orileys auto parts will do for free. The service department is were MOST customer interactions take place and is arguably the biggest money maker for a dealership. Why would I purchase anything from Marty Feldman or have service done there? The lazy entry of problems, arrogant service asst manager and likely a BS lie answer, the Marty Feldman service manager could not even take 5 min to call me back. I had previously had way better service but alas that employee left Marty Feldman. Can’t even keep good help. More
