After hours and hours of researching auto trader and cars.com I finally cut my list of cars I wanted to 5 cars. I was very interested in buying a Hyundai Azera and Genesis. So we went to the Hyundai dealership to check it out, man it was nice but it jus didn't give me that wow factor, but since my wife had a Mercedes s class I kind of knew what luxury felt like. So We went to fields mercedes of Lakeland fl. We assume when we arrived that everybody there would be stuckup and really don't wonna help me and my wife assuming we couldn't afford anything, but I was completely wrong as soon as we opened the door we was greeted and introduce to and my eyes the best car salesman and the world, Carl Lockhart. Immediately he introduce himself, ask if we wanted bottle water, donuts or ice cream. I was like wow I'm not use to this kind of service. He kind through me off my game plan a little bit, but i could'nt let him know that so I Immediately put my game face back on. I told him I was interested in the e class I saw on cartrader.com. So he took us out there and completely sold the car to us, not by the look of the car or the features, just by his total honesty and knowledge of the car and what mercedes will offer over Hyundai. So we said let's make the deal. So in the process of making the deal we caught a couple of snags, but the worlds best car salesman knew exactly how to handle it no problem. To make a long story short, it was the best experience if buying a luxury car ever. I would like to say thanks to Carl Lockhart and all the guys at Fields Motorcars of Lakeland fl. After several weeks of considering a Make of vehicle to purchase, I decided on Mercedes. I then began to research dealerships within 100 miles of my home. I contacted several dealerships thru CarGurus.co purchase, I decided on Mercedes. I then began to research dealerships within 100 miles of my home. I contacted several dealerships thru CarGurus.com and AutoTrader.com looking for competitive pricing. I found a vehicle that I was very interested in and ended up speaking with John Nevills (manager) at Field Motor cars in Lakeland about a car on his lot. This was the afternoon of July 3rd and due to my work schedule and me living over 50 miles from the dealership, John offered to meet with me on the morning of July 4th - which is a Holiday. The dealership was closed, however, John was extremely accommodating to my schedule and had the vehicle ready for me to review and test drive when I arrived the next morning. That began the experience of Top Notch customer service at Fields Motorcars. Carl Lockhart was the sales adviser that John had come in (on a Holiday!) to assist me with questions and take a test drive. Carl had vast knowledge of the Mercedes Benz and was very kind, he not pushy at all. He really explained things to me and took the time to be sure I was comfortable before making a buying decision. I ended up putting a deposit down on a Certified Pre Owned 2010 E350 and arranged to come back the following day (when the dealership was open) to complete the paperwork. Gary Bressman in finance completed the sale; he was very kind and professional during the process. I did not feel pressured in the least bit at this dealership. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely kind and portrayed the best customer service I have ever experienced. I would say that level of customer service at this dealership is of Ritz Carlton quality. The other thing I'd like to mention is the QUALITY of the product at Fields Motorcars. Every car I looked at was in fantastic shape and very clean. The car I ended up buying is a 2010 and looks as though it has never been driven. I feel it is very important that they take pride in what they offer to customers. John also shared the history of each vehicle I was considering so that I knew exactly what I was buying. Overall, this was THE BEST experience I have ever had in buying a car. Even though I live over an hour from the dealership, I will gladly use them for service on my car and I will confidently refer them to others who are looking for a luxury car. Thank you again! Don & John were extremely helpful and knowledgable in assisting us with purchasing a secondary vehicle for our family.
