Don’t trust SPENCER I recently purchased a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz from First Choice Automotive, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. Before I purchased the vehicle, I was informed there wa Santa Cruz from First Choice Automotive, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. Before I purchased the vehicle, I was informed there was an issue with the actuator related to the transmission, and I was assured it would be repaired before I received the car. After purchase, the dealership kept the vehicle for approximately 21–25 days, stating they were waiting on parts and completing repairs. During that time, I was not provided with clear updates or proper documentation. When I picked the vehicle up, I was told everything had been fixed. However, I was not given a repair invoice or any detailed proof of the work completed, despite asking. Within just 3 days, the same issues returned — including jerking, loss of power, and difficulty reversing — making the vehicle unsafe to drive. I then took the vehicle to a certified dealership, where I was informed the car now needs a full transmission replacement costing around $6,000. When I reached back out to First Choice Automotive, they refused to take responsibility and stated the issue had already been fixed, but still could not provide proper documentation of the repair. I have since filed formal complaints and am pursuing this matter further. I would strongly advise others to be cautious, request full documentation, and have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing from this dealership. More

Bad place to deal! This place makes and acts like you are getting a good deal and when you actually realize that it is not they put pressure on you to buy. They said the This place makes and acts like you are getting a good deal and when you actually realize that it is not they put pressure on you to buy. They said they were trying to work with me as a customer but when I hesitated on finalizing the purchase they went and looked through my credit history and saw that I was at another dealership looking and then sought to convince me they had the best deal. Their Interest rate was higher their vehicle was worse even though it was newer and after I signed the papers but before the 72 hours was up I took the vehicle back and the head guy(Mr Brad) tried to scare me into believing that he would put a Voluntary Surrender on my Credit History and also lied to me on several occasions thinking that I would not investigate what he said. The finance company shut the deal done for me which is awesome and I must say the underlings there are great guys but have little say when it comes to the finance arena. Stay away unless you want to get burnt! More
