Multiple very bad experiences. Rude reception staff, very long wait time for repairs and damage to my vehicle. I have the white leather interior and on the first visit the worker had a pen in her pocket when she drove the truck leaving an ink mark on the console. The second and third times in the dealership, they failed to use any protection for the inside of the car which lead to grease on my seats, the console and the driver side door. Even though I get free oil changes for the life of the car, I am scheduled to pay for this service from another dealer in hopes I can avoid any further damage to my truck. More
They “fixed” a warrant issue, then they did not put my car back together causing the front end to almost split, causing to replace two rims, two tires, 2 hub bearing units. A year later hub bearing is goi car back together causing the front end to almost split, causing to replace two rims, two tires, 2 hub bearing units. A year later hub bearing is going bad again, the part is on national back order and the only part available is aftermarket. They won’t pay for the aftermarket part. They will break your vehicle then make you pay for their mistakes. GO TO PRIORITY!!!!! More
I would like to acknowledge Kyle Hearld ONCE AGAIN for his outstanding work! I brought in my Corolla for regular maintenance - as it has over 190K miles on it and is still going strong, Kyle noticed that his outstanding work! I brought in my Corolla for regular maintenance - as it has over 190K miles on it and is still going strong, Kyle noticed that my break light and cabin filter needed to be changed and that I had probably been driving around with a burnt out break light for a little while now. It’s little details like this that make that all the difference!! I will continue my service with First Team Toyota because of Kyle and his stupendous service and attention to detail. It makes me and I’m sure all of his customers feel entrusted and secure bringing their car to First Team. Keep up the great work!!! More

We bought our 2018 Tacoma at First Team and have always has great service, except this one time. On May 20th, my wife brought our vehicle in because of slow leak in a tire. Service pumped up the tire, has great service, except this one time. On May 20th, my wife brought our vehicle in because of slow leak in a tire. Service pumped up the tire, and told my wife the tires were getting close to needing replacement (this was no surprise as they have 55K miles on them). We had a previously scheduled appointment on May 25 for an oil change, and by that date, the same tire had lost about 10PSI, so I asked First Team to find the source of the leak during that oil change visit. And also asked to please give all of the tires a good look for potential replacement, based on the previous comments the week before by the service department representative. Dropped the car off night of May 24th. When I came by around 4:15PM on May 25th to pick the car up, there was some confusion but eventually it became clear that no one had looked at it yet, and the service department moved it to a different team and told me it would be "done in an hour or so" (with no apology). When service called to say the vehicle was ready, they told us they could not find any problem with the tire. We were in a rush, by then it was well after 5PM, and we were going out of town the following day, so we picked up the car. Nothing was mentioned about the condition of all tires (I was ready to make an appointment with First Team to give them our business and replace all four tires). The following morning, the tire had already lost another 5PSI, so we decided to not take this vehicle out of town and used our other car. After we returned, I brought our Toyota to Dellingers - down the road from First Team - and they quickly found a nail in the tire and repaired it. I noticed on the second page of my work invoice from First Team the note that said I would be receiving a brief survey by email, and if I couldn't give the service department a 5 star rating to please call. I would have called. . . if I had received that email and survey request, but I never received anything from First Team and it has been well >2 weeks. I know they have my correct email address because I have received emails from First Team in the past. This was disappointing, because we have always had great service from First Team. It won't stop me from using this dealership, but thought someone would want to know about this experience. Hopefully this was just a "one off" anomaly. More
Beware the unadvertised $100 diagnostic fee! While not an uncommon fee, this is the first shop I've ever worked with who didn't advertise it, didn't mention it during scheduling, and didn't mention it when d uncommon fee, this is the first shop I've ever worked with who didn't advertise it, didn't mention it during scheduling, and didn't mention it when discussing service with service tech. When I suggested they not charge me if they didn't communicate properly I was threatened with a lien on my vehicle. There are other shops who do the same work and in a more professional manner. More
I had an amazing experience buying my vehicle from Nick Vendt. He understood my budget and worked with me to stay within my requirements. Everyone at the dealership were so friendly and professional, mak Vendt. He understood my budget and worked with me to stay within my requirements. I had First Team in Chesapeake VA do the frame replacement safety recall. Neil McClanan the Service Manager and Alex the mechanic did an outstanding job for me. Neil keep me informed throughout replacement safety recall. Neil McClanan the Service Manager and Alex the mechanic did an outstanding job for me. Neil keep me informed throughout the process. He was very pleasant to work with and made me feel that my satisfaction was his top priority. Alex was over-the-top on making sure everything was done correctly. He double checked all of his work and fine tuned things that did not meet his liking. A big thank you to both of them. Truly a great Service experience. The job spanned seven weeks from time of drop off to pick up. After the initial inspection of the truck Neil and Alex gave me a list of items that they suspected would be a problem in teardown and a list of optional services/replacement items to consider while the truck was disassembled. I chose all the suggested services and parts replacements. The total bill was $3,050. About 1/3 was related to teardown items and the rest was optional suggested services and worn parts replacement. My wife and I were prepared to spend $3,000 on the work and First Team was made it happen. Kudos to First Team, Neil and Alex. They exemplify and dignify the Toyota name and reputation. More
