I visited the Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Lexington Park last Friday just thinking I was going in to get information on the Chrysler Pacifica and possibly take a test drive. I have been a multi-decade Honda owne Friday just thinking I was going in to get information on the Chrysler Pacifica and possibly take a test drive. I have been a multi-decade Honda owner, but have an aging Saint Bernard and needed a minivan that provided easy access and space for a 145 lb. dog to comfortably lie down. To my surprise, I wound up buying a 2020 Pacifica. I’ve been researching minivans for a while, and was pretty sure that the Pacifica was the best minivan for my needs. The expertise, patience, and thoroughness of my salesman, Mr. Keyvan Aarabi, who patiently checked me out on the many features of the car and took me on an extensive test drive, erased any lingering reasons I might have had to delay a decision. He made sure that he totally understood what my requirements were. He also explored various financing possibilities, including a fair trade in for my 10-year old SUV (yes, a Honda CR-V). At no point did I feel any pressure. The Fitzgerald dealership, under the management of owner Mr. Bill Ritter, was well run and felt like a very happy place to work. Very professional and competent. Mr Keyvan Arabi was excellent to work with during my buying experience. He kept in constantly aware throughout the buying process. Although I was disappointed the truck was not ready when I arrived Friday 8/21, Keyvan was excellent to work with. I initially found the 2010 Dodge Ram on the website and was working with Thomas Barker from Hagerstown— he inquired about the truck on Tuesday 8/18 and said the truck was going through the MD inspection. I asked about having the truck available in Hagerstown. We communicated each day from Tuesday until Friday. My last communication on Friday 8/21 stated that someone might be interested in looking at it on Saturday 8/22 and if they didn’t buy it, the truck would be brought to Hagerstown on Monday 8/24. I made the decision to travel nearly 3 hours to Lexington Park to buy the truck Friday night 8/21. I was disappointed to learn the inspection still had not been completed when I was being told by Travis that they were doing it during the week. The inspection still was not finalized until Wednesday 8/26 and Keyvan delivered the truck Wednesday. I was disappointed to receive inaccurate information throughout the process and for it to take over a week from my initial inquiry for the inspection to be completed. When I arrived Friday night one of the service techs said that he had just washed the outside and was going to get the interior the next day (Saturday). Keyvan was delayed an hour delivering the truck by an hour because the truck still had not been detailed on the inside. To have the buying process dragged out to 8 days from my initial inquiry was very disappointing and then to have to spend an additional $300 to have a 2nd key was equally disappointing. Had I to do over again — I might just work with another local vendor. I will say the rest of the staff that I interacted with Friday night we all very nice. From the gentleman that was going to detail the car to the young lad that greeted me upon entering and assigning Keyvan to help and Mr. Ritter. More

I purchased a Jeep Renegade from Fitzgerald last year and discovered it was not what I was looking for and I needed more space and comfort. After speaking with Keyvan and explaining my needs Keyvan recommended the Jeep Cherokee Lariat Plus 4×4. I didn't think it would have the comfort and ride I was looking for but boy was I wrong! It was exactly what I was looking for in both size and comfort. It is awesome having a sales person listen to the customer and know the vehicles they are offering. The finance department was quick, efficient and found the price and security we were looking for. Overall Fitzgerald was a wonderful buying experience. More
