Made car buying a fun experience again! I put off buying a car for 6 months because I just dreaded the experience of sitting in someone's office, playing cat and mouse. I even thought of not trading in our cars just to avoid it. My husband finally convinced me this had to be done, so into Fitzgerald's we went. We had purchased a Kia from them many years ago and remembered that they were a "no dicker" dealer. We figured that would help. I still expected pressure and go arounds, but there was none of that. From the moment we met Mike Hendry, he felt like a personable old friend. No pressure, lots of good information and straightforward talk about money. We felt we could disclose our wishes for a specific payment and what was important to us and what was not, and he kept to our wishes. Even when he left the room, there was no need for whispering together about our buying strategy. Everything was open and candid. He has emailed and called to follow up just to make sure we had all our questions answered! Debbie in Finance was so great. She, too, seemed like an old friend. We laughed and joked and she said to make sure I let her know whenever I was in the dealership. Debbie was so openly informative about the financing, what was in our best interest to put down, etc. From the time we entered Fitzgerald's, we felt they were on our side, not the typical "we vs. them". The experience makes me love my car even more! More
