Ready to buy a car until I live in Apopka, FL which is two hours from the Clearwater location. For this reason -- which I said right up front -- I had a few questions before driving out there. I used the online system to "chat live". I spoke with David, who answered a few basic questions. I asked for a call ASAP, which I did not receive although he said he would call. I then proceeded to receive four emails from four different agents at Fitz Clearwater / Auto Mall. One of them said they couldn't call me and that my phone number didn't work (not true), one said their "phone systems" were "down", and one asked if they could speak with me today. I said yes. I then spoke with Lee who was the first person I actually talked to. We chatted for about 10 minutes regarding the work that needs to be done on the car (not listed on Auto Trader or their website... which he insisted was there, but it wasn't). I still proceeded since the vehicle was at a good cost and they seemed honest. I asked for some interior photos, since there were none online. Lee said OK. I also asked if he could get me the total out the door cost, which again he agreed. We disconnected. I got a call back about five minutes later from both David and Lee. I answered Lees call and let him know David has just called. He started to change his tone and said, "Do you realize you now have FOUR agents working on the same car for you?" I said no, since he was the only person I talked to. He basically called me a liar and said "No, you've talked to David." (not true, I only spoke with him online and had asked for a call back from SOMEONE at the dealership). After being chastised for a good few minutes about how somehow this was my fault, I told Lee not to worry about it and that I would go elsewhere. He promptly hung up. VERY unprofessional in my opinion. I hope the company knows they lost a sale due to agent Lees unprofessional behavior. More

The worst used car purchase in my life. I bought a new Subaru at Fitzgerald"s in Clearwater. That experience was good. So when my son needed to buy a used car I thought it was a reputable p I bought a new Subaru at Fitzgerald"s in Clearwater. That experience was good. So when my son needed to buy a used car I thought it was a reputable place and would stand by their sale. They inspect the car and list all the repairs that are needed so there won't be any surprises. LOL. I have put over $2500 ! in repairs and we haven't even had the car 3 months. Buyer Beware is all I can say. And my next new car will not be at Fitzgeralds! More
