I had been reading about the Elantra and thought it might be a good fit for me--and I loved the car on sight. more important--my sales person--Leslie Gray--was very easy to deal with and even found me a car in less than 2 days. She made me feel at ease and comfortable with the car and the process and was able to gauge the areas in which I had an interest and those in which I did not. She and the rest of the staff were able to expedite the lease process so that I was able to leave with the new car before the old lease had expired. I was doubly glad to deal with Fitzgerald because they made me feel as if my business was important to them--in spite of the fact that the Elantra had been garnering all sorts of awards and great reviews--while my Honda dealership--from whom I had leased 2 cars and who had serviced them over 5-1/2 years--treated me almost as an unwelcome customer and used high pressure tactics to get me to re-sign. I had the best car buying experience of my life at Fitzgerald in Clearwater, FL! Both my son and daughter-in-law had purchased Hyundai Santa Fees at Fitzgerald - and were impressed by the process - so Fitzgerald in Clearwater, FL! Both my son and daughter-in-law had purchased Hyundai Santa Fees at Fitzgerald - and were impressed by the process - so when I was looking for a Hyundai Elantra Touring I thought I would give them a try! I am so glad I did! Prior to my purchase I visited the Fitzgerald web site a few times and was impressed with the quality and selection of cars. I actually selected my new car on line before I went to the dealership. However, when I got there I confess I did look at a few other Elantra Touring vehicles - but purchased the one I had picked out online! It had all the features I was looking for and I love driving the car! The salesperson was Bill Douglass, as recommended to me by my son and daughter-in-law, and he was outstanding! I was impressed from the start by his honesty and openness. As the sale progressed I continued to be impressed with him - the test drive was amazing. He pointed out all the features and took me through some situations to demonstrate the ease of handling! In addition since I had arrived at the dealership at 3:30 in the afternoon and they closed at 6 on Saturday - I was astonished that Bill and other staff stayed to complete all the necessary paperwork so I could leave with my new car. Then even though everyone else had left Bill stayed and went over every detail of the service department information, as well as sat in the car and went over every feature! I have never had such a wonderful sales person or car buying experience! I would recommend Fitzgerald and Bill Douglass to anyone looking to buy a new car!
