We're sorry to hear that your service visit was less than exceptional. As a certified Hyundai dealership, we are required to uphold certain protocols and procedures by the manufacturer to maintain the quality service that the Hyundai brand is known for. Such was the case with your vehicle. While we regret being unable to perform the service in the way desired, we have to follow Hyundai's requirement of running several tests beforehand to ensure that the correct repairs are being performed. As this is a manufacturer requirement, it is also a requirement before the manufacturer will cover the service under warranty. As a Hyundai representative, we are reimbursed for any warranty service and are bound by their warranty requirements. As such, we have nothing to gain by any declined warranty coverage, nor do we have the ability to pick and choose what can or cannot be covered. We'd love to work with you again if given the option.
