Great, friendly and customer focused service. Both Lisa Lam and Phil Formichelli were very professional as we dealt with them to buy the 2014 Highlander. Lisa went out of the way to explain every aspect of the car and the buying process and Phil helped in explaining the "straight up pricing" approach they have. They have the best deal in town as I had fully researched the car and price in a 100 mile radius. There were dealers in Baltimore who quoted a price and then went on add things like "freight" back to the selling price. That alone is a 845 dollar swing and if you do not watch out the Baltimore dealer would end up charging you more. Fitzgerald Toyota does not have that problem as they price the car, clearly, on its window and upon research you will find that that is the best price in town. Once the inspection was performed it was discovered my battery was beginning to get weak. I have no doubt this battery was just as they said... it's the same battery that came with the vehicle in late 2007. Also, it was recommended that I get new brakes in the reasonably near future. I agreed with Judith on this also. There was a bit of noise coming from them so it was best to get that taken care of also. Judith arranged for all the work to be completed that day and also provided me with a taxi back to work and a return to the dealer for picking up my car. Upon picking up my car I was happy to see that everything was completed professionally and within a relatively short amount of time. Spending money on car repairs is not my favorite thing to do but Judith made sure it was a pleasant experience.. She's very knowledgeable about car service and repair and is genuinely a nice person. I was currently on the hunt for the impossible to get 2014 Toyota Highlander, if I did find one the dealers would not budge on sticker price. I found Fitzgerald and Luke Doll on my vehicle search and am 2014 Toyota Highlander, if I did find one the dealers would not budge on sticker price. I found Fitzgerald and Luke Doll on my vehicle search and am I glad I did!!! This dealer ran a promotion on a Highlander and sold it immediately I called and was told it was sold and asked if they had a similar promo to call me as I am 200 miles away but don't mind traveling for a good deal. Almost instantly Luke Doll was in contact with me and said his dealership could extend me a similar offer, I said ok and sign me up. He told me his dealership had 1 Highlander on the lot, unfortunately it was not my desired color and since it was for my wife I had to stand firm and wait for the silver color, so I told Luke Doll this and he understood. Shortly after this, Luke Doll calls me back and said we are here to make you happy and said if I can get you a Silver one in stock from another dealer possibly would you be interested, I said of course. Luke Doll then proceeded to exhaust all avenues to get that Highlander, though his efforts were immense, the elusive Highlander was just out of grasp, then suddenly he found one and picked it up himself and kept me informed at all times. Many promises were made before I travelled to the dealership and I have been around long enough and made enough car deals that I wasn't going to be surprised if the deal "changed" from what was promised, and I have no problem walking away when this happens. Well, every single promise was kept at Fitzgerald Toyota, Luke Doll was amazing and with me living 215 miles away and a crazy schedule to contend with I could only come on Tuesday, this was Luke Doll's day off, it did not even phase him, he was there to meet me on his day off to see the deal done. In a nut shell, Luke Doll (sorry I keep repeating his name but it is important that he get recognition, he is a very rare breed in his profession, I assure you this) was persistent in making a deal that worked for me, one that made me and my wife very happy, and never faltered or back pedaled on a single promise. This is by far the best experience at any dealership in my 27 years of driving and buying cars. Now I am not a writer so this review may not flow as good as it could but bottom line: I would recommend Luke Doll and Fitzgeral Toyota to ANYONE!!! I plan on using them again without hesitation Also Luke Doll does all the "extra stuff" goes the extra mile! I picked the Highlander up on a cold day, as it came time to leave he had the Highlander warmed up, he also synced my wives phone with the Highlander, went over every feature and option (which there were many), every box you ever wanted checked with your experience at a car dealership was checked, this was all due to Luke Doll. I tried to keep this short and to the point - Luke Doll and Fitzgerald Toyota = a "WIN" for the customer! More
This place is always great. I had my water pump & serpentine belt replaced under warranty at Darcars in Silver Spring, MD about 1-1/2 months ago. I noticed a screeching noise when I would start up my car. I told Judith (service rep) abut the problem, she had the mechanic diagnose free of charge and the mechanic found belt was damaged (not sure how since Darcars supposedly just put on a new one). Judith ordered the part and scheduled an appointment and all this work will be done free of charge under warranty (even though this dealership did not do the warranty work). Will always take my car here and never again to Darcars in Silver Spring, MD. More
Waited 3 hours for a scheduled oil change, after being given a 1 hour estimate. Wasting customers time is not a priority. I recommend planning on dropping the car off for the entire day if you decide to go there. I have no problems with their service and price but the 0 rating is deserved based on how long it took, being this was scheduled 2 days ahead of time! More
I first worked with Harry Dayal. It was an absolute wonderful experience. I had been to two other Toyota dealers before coming to Fitzgeralds and walked out because I felt pressured to make decisions and buy things I was not interested in. That was not my experience with Harry and because he exhibited much patience and no pushiness, it made me want to do business with this dealer. I met with Harry on Tuesday and told him I wanted to think things over and that I would get back with him on Wednesday. He said that was fine. The more I thought about our conversation, the more I thought I am ready to buy the car we discussed. When I called on Wed. he told me he was not in that day, but would be happy to come in and meet me or he would arrange for me to meet with Neeha Bhasin. I chose not to make him come in and agreed to meet with Neeha. Meeting with Neeha was an absolute joyful experience. She was extremely helpful in every aspect of helping me complete the process, financing, drove me to return my rental car, made sure my car was cleaned and ready for me and in my opinion did everything above and beyond what good customer service is supposed to be about. My experience here was excellent and because of that, I will share it with others who I know are looking to buy new or used cars. If all the staff are like Harry and Neeha, I certainly understand why this dealership is so successful. Thank you for a wonderful experience for something which could have been extremely stressful! She was very accommodating, and worked closely with me, to get the 4Runner I purchased with the options I wanted, and relatively close to the price I could afford for the 4Runner. She did not control the pricing, the sales manager's control and set the final price, so the "4" on pricing has no reflection on Catlin. I'd would have given her a "5" if the sales manager had met my price. I would highly recommend others to ask for Catlin. She will work with you. I've bought many cars from Fitzgeralds, and Catlin is one of the best sales persons I have worked with. Catlin did an Excellent Job and I am satisfied. More
