I purchased my 2018 Forester from the Umansky dealership and for the first two years I'd owned it I was always grateful for the positive experience in getting the vehicle tuned, maintained, and updated. After moving to Lexington, KY I continued to have work done but it was never as completely satisfying as my time in Charlottesville, and consequently when I had the opportunity to drive back to Virginia in April 2021 I made sure to get an appointment to get my latest service done at my old familiar location. Once again my experience was great with plenty of personal, courteous, and friendly conversation in advance when making the appointment along with in-person experience dropping the vehicle off and then awaiting the return. The loaner vehicle was hugely appreciated as it gave me and my daughter plenty of opportunity to go exploring throughout Charlottesville in the meantime. Better still was the fact that I was able to pick up my car within the same day of drop-off rather than waiting 24 hours as originally anticipated. I received good work and a very pleasant experience and I only wish that I still lived in Charlottesville so that I could continue bringing my vehicle in regularly. Thank you very much! More

I was brought in by a friend approximately 2 hours after having been T-boned in my car. It was totaled. I was still in shock. I had planned to get a new car just before I retired and had the one in mind I having been T-boned in my car. It was totaled. I was still in shock. I had planned to get a new car just before I retired and had the one in mind I was saving for. Having to move that timeline up a couple years was not in my plan. After looking at all the cars I was now considering, my friend told Quincey about my "dream" car; a black on brown Outback Touring. At the moment, he advised he did not believe you all had one in stock but one could be found and brought in. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to wait. My only car had just been totaled. He went to get the keys of a similar model (we weren't real excited about the color combination) but instead, Quincey came driving up in the EXACT car I had hoped to purchase in the future! He hollered "Look what I found!" The car had literally just come in! It had been a horrible afternoon, but all the folks we dealt with made a very difficult time much more bearable. Everyone was so kind and helpful. They even understood that I had no desire to test drive the car after what had just happened. In fact, I didn't even take it home that night. We arranged for pick up the next morning when I might be feeling better. Thank you all for such a good experience. I HATE buying cars to begin with. This experience made the world of difference to me. I also had rain and splash guards installed later that week. Everyone was so nice an pleasant. Very helpful. More
