Vsi inspector removed only 1 wheel then failed all 4 brakes! Jeremy W failed muffler and mid pipe for bad gasket between the 2 parts and estimated $2300 to pass inpection if parts were ordered. More

Mr. Rainey, I hate to hear you had a less than extraordinary experience as that is not the level of service we aim to provide. I did look into the history of the vehicle and found your visit on 11/10/21 for a VA State Inspection. Looking over the inspector's findings, I see that your brakes failed for heavy rust build up causing them to not make full contact. Per state law, they are required to make 100% contact with the rotor. In regards, to removing the wheel during the state inspection, it is not required when the inspector can see the pads not making contact. Also needed to pass was the muffler and mid pipe due to a crack on the mounting flange. Unfortunately, State Inspectors are considered ambassadors for the Virginia State Police and I am not permitted to try and sway or change their findings. However, you can contact the state police and file a complaint. While I understand your frustration in your recent visit, there is not much I can do to change his findings.
