Dealer did a great job keeping me informed about the progress of my vehicle. They solved the problem and assured me if there were further issues they would take care of them. progress of my vehicle. This dealership was about 2 1/2 hours from where I live in NC and I must say that it was worth the drive. I was previously dealing with another dealership that was extremely rude but the staff at this dea in NC and I must say that it was worth the drive. I was previously dealing with another dealership that was extremely rude but the staff at this dealership were very pleasant and easy to deal with. They went above and beyond to show me appreciation for my business. My salesperson greeted me upon my arrival and the sales manager came to introduce himself to me. The finance manager treated me as if I was a long time friend and we had only spoken on the phone once prior to my arrival at the dealership. I definitely encourage anyone looking for a vehicle to check out this dealership. More

My car was in the shop for a cylinder 1 misfire…second time I had had it there in less than a week (first for an oil change and normal tune up). The service technician said I needed to replace my clutch w time I had had it there in less than a week (first for an oil change and normal tune up). The service technician said I needed to replace my clutch with 40K miles on it and no sense of slipping while driving for just the parts because the technician already had everything apart and they said parts were $1267, which according to Subaru’s parts website the parts don’t cost nearly that much. I declined the clutch knowing it’s a wearing part and that it should last me way more than 40K miles. I picked up my car and was told everything was covered under my warranty and that I didn’t owe anything. Then I got called by Gail later saying I owed a $100 deductible for my extended warranty plan that covered all the service, but I have no invoice stating this. After driving my car around after Subaru had “fixed” it, I started hearing a metallic clank when I would go to accelerate from a stop, which was not a problem before getting my car worked on at Subaru so I took it to a shop that would not rip me off. Clutch works fine and the Subaru tech did not bolt my engine back down to the frame, hence the noise. The other shop put the 2 bolts on and didn’t charge me for anything. This is the worst car dealership experience I’ve ever had. The manager on duty 9/14/21 (George) said he couldn’t do anything unless I brought the car back to the shop, which I do not trust or feel safe with them working on my vehicle. Shoddy work and tried to rip me off multiple times. This is all after having an oil change a few days before misfiring started and I had the back hatch struts checked because they didn’t seem to be working correctly and Subaru had me sent a letter saying it was a known problem, but Subaru (Gail) tried to charge me for the hatch struts for a known issue I had been sent a letter for. I love my Subaru, but this dealership experience has soiled the Subaru brand. It would not surprise me if the technician did not bolt down my engine on purpose so I would have to bring it back when I heard the sound and charge me more money. More
