Ms. Luketic, As we've discussed prior, unfortunately mistakes do happen; however, without having your vehicle to inspect we can not decipher what happened. The repair to your Subaru was completed on 6/30/21 and anything could have transpired in 60+ days since that repair. In regards to the $100.00 deductible, as stated to you prior to your review, it is being refunded as your repair did in fact fall under your powertrain warranty and not your extended warranty. You would not have an invoice stating anything in regards to extended warranty other than what was given to you at the time of said warranties purchase. As for the clutch, it is a wear item and could very possibly need to be replaced at your mileage depending upon driving habits. While we understand your frustration and disappointment, without bringing us the vehicle when you experienced the concern, our hands are tied. We strive daily to provide an extraordinary experience to our patrons and typically do a great job with that, I do apologize that we failed you and did not do that in your case. The clank happened pretty quickly after my visit (with in a week or 2), but I didn’t and no longer trust your dealership to correctly and honestly handle my vehicle, and therefore, delayed getting it checked out. I understand that the clutch is a wearing part, but trying to take advantage of a young woman that “probably doesn’t know better” is dirty business practices especially because the clutch performs as it should. Thank you for holding yourselves accountable for the deductible error and refunding me the $100. Shame I had to point it out before it noticed on your end. Also a shame that prior to my last two visits I’ve always given your dealership 5 star reviews, and this is an unfortunate turn of events. When I corrected the service provider about the back hatch struts, she was rude and didn’t contact me to let me know my car was ready. That’s twice Gail has tried to bill me for things I didn’t owe.
