A stress free car buying experience I took my wife to browse new Nissans at Future Nissan. Hector was an excellent salesperson who bent over backwards to help us find the vehicle we need I took my wife to browse new Nissans at Future Nissan. Hector was an excellent salesperson who bent over backwards to help us find the vehicle we needed as we start a family. He pushed to get us a price that we could afford. Hector is the best! Get over to Future Nissan and he'll help you find what you need. More
What a horrible experience! These people are so unprofessional and unscrupulous it’s not even funny. You know those things you read about dealerships being slimy and playing games like bait and sw unprofessional and unscrupulous it’s not even funny. You know those things you read about dealerships being slimy and playing games like bait and switch? Well this place does it all. I thought those days are over – but not here! Future Nissan (and as far as I’m concerned all the ‘Future’ dealerships) are as slimy as they come. So let’s get to the meat of the matter shall we? It all started with an internet quote from Mr. M saying he could met my TrueCare price and could even find me the color of vehicle I wanted even if they had to order it for me! I made an appointment for a 7:30pm test drive and the headed out. This is when things started to get bad – when we arrived we were told the car was at their ‘storage’ location and we would have to drive out to get it, well that turned out to be Rocklin, where all the other Future dealerships keep their inventory. So that took an entire hour…..at least I got to drive the truck back, which was pretty much like test driving it, even though now I think they just got me to drive the lump of coal to their dealership for free. The truck was what I wanted – except for one big problem, the color – it was black on black. Personally I don’t want to drive around a microwave with wheels since I live in the Sacramento area. So we get back to the dealership and start working on the price – right away I tell them I have a loan approved through my credit union (which they were even running a special with that weekend…) but they still asked me to fill out an application and ran my credit! They really wanted me to get Nissan financing at some ridiculous rate (I have excellent credit – 4.99, what are you smoking?) Then the truck they say that they found in my color was not actually the color I wanted but a different color. This was after we had agreed on a price and everything. Then the truth came out (if not briefly)….would I buy the microwave on wheels if they threw out a ‘crazy’ price? Can you say bait and switch? Very good class! You all get gold stars! They had absolutely no interest in selling me the truck I wanted but selling me what they wanted to unload. By that time it was almost 10:30pm and we told them to call us the next day, which they promised they would do. Next day comes – do they call, of course not! That should have been the end of it but I decide to go down with the wife again for more punishment. We had decided to get the truck even if the color was a little different, we still liked it. When we got there everyone totally ignored us (we all know when we are being ignored on purpose, don’t we…) finally one of the ‘salespeople’ (I do use the term very loosely here) came over. He pretended to not know who we were and if we were waiting on Kevin (who the hell is Kevin?) Basically he said he could not find any of the paperwork from last night (how the hell does that happen? Nice to know all my confidential information can be just ‘misplaced’) and could not find the agreed upon price. Instead he quoted us a price that was thousands more than what we had discussed less than 24 hours ago! Oh said Mr. C. , “If Mr. Jack hole was here we could get you that price, but since he is busy cleaning the toilets I just can’t get there” That was it – we left in disgust! So my advice? DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE – stay clear!!!! What a bunch of bold face liars and cheats! More

Horrible experience. 7.5 HOURS to buy a car. The salesman, Chris was good. He went out of his way to help us find the correct car. The finance department was horrible. Wrong paperwork. Rude emp salesman, Chris was good. He went out of his way to help us find the correct car. The finance department was horrible. Wrong paperwork. Rude employees. Use intimidation and harassment. Extremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to threaten to call the Folsom Police before I was allowed to leave with my vechicle after a service visit. Didn't have parts or keys for my vechicle. It was the worst experience I have EVER had in my life and I have bought 14 new cars in my lifetime. More
I am new to CA and I recently moved from MN. I am glad to find this Future Nissan of Folsom dealership. It's one of the greatest I have seen. Long story short, I was trading in 2005 Nissan Murano (full f find this Future Nissan of Folsom dealership. It's one of the greatest I have seen. Long story short, I was trading in 2005 Nissan Murano (full features loaded, premium sounds and everything in it) with any brand new car which could give good mileage like 26-35 mpg and I shouldn't exceed the EMI of $280 which I already was paying for murano. I wasn't positive of getting cars loaded with same features as Murano and with EMIs conditions mentioned above. BUT wow!! Surprisingly everyone at delearship considering my conditions personally talked to me through it and have me an amazing deal...2012 Nissan Altima SLX ...fully loaded as Murano...all new features...nice mileage..amazing car.....almost Same EMI as I was paying..no down payments.....I think..it was heck of a deal they offerred me...... Great place to share your thoughts, your numbers and buy a new car!! Please visit and let them know what you want ...you would probably end up getting it..... More
Went shopping 6-21-12, to find a vehicle for my 18 year old son. this was the fifth dealership I had shopped. I dreaded walking on the lot of each one, because of the typical high pressured used car sales old son. this was the fifth dealership I had shopped. I dreaded walking on the lot of each one, because of the typical high pressured used car salesman, that are generally desperate to make a sale, they will say and do anything. I generally find their first impression to be less than honest and quite overbearing. I was so impressed with the first gentleman, "Marco", 23 years old, very respectful and truly wanted to hear and listen to what we wanted from a vehicle for my son. Although new to the business, he was very helpful with addtional considerations to be made. He was very patient and genuinely wanted for my son and I to be happy and content and allow us to make a good educated decision. Then, we worked with, "Brian, the closer", to work the numbers. Brian was just as kind and very sincere. He had a ton of patience as I am a tough negotiator. I work in sales and dont think I share his amazing level of patience. He clearly showed has a genuine good spirit. Dave the sales manager... kind of quiet guy, but a man of high, honest integrity. Generally the Sales manager hides in one of the back rooms, where Dave is highly visible at the front desk. I was very impressed with the experience we had at this dealership and would highly recommend to anyone. To add one more; the other salesmen that were not working or benefiting from our business, were also very kind and very friendly. Enjoyed sharing tips regarding having an 18 year old boy just starting to drive, after this gentleman went through it with three boys. After our purchase, next day, I called with an un-noticed issue by all and they couldnt have handled better. A++++++++ Dealership. Im a tough judge. More
We just wanted to say we had a positive experience at Folsom Chevrolet! We love our new/used car and the service was honest, friendly and not pushy at all! My husband and I needed an economy car since Folsom Chevrolet! We love our new/used car and the service was honest, friendly and not pushy at all! My husband and I needed an economy car since he was going to start 50 mile day commute, we did alot of the financing on-line before we went in to dealership. All we had to do was check out the car, and sign the paperwork if we were happy! Was easy! The finance man was extremely efficient and made it a painless experience. Have not had any issues with our vehicle and have already drove it quite a few miles since purchasing! I highly recommend this dealership! Thank you Folsom Chevrolet and we will see you when our son graduates college to buy his vehicle! More
The initial salesperson, Sang was very friendly and helpful. The dealership was asking about $2000 more than the Blue book price for this car in excellent condition. I wanted to pay less than their helpful. The dealership was asking about $2000 more than the Blue book price for this car in excellent condition. I wanted to pay less than their price. Michael, the manager was sent for to negotiate the price. This took over two hours He lied to me and said that they performed $3000 worth of work on the car. I did not see how this was an added feature, to me it sounded like they had to do it to make it sellable. He was unable to give me a detailed report of what work they had done. After the purchase my mechanic told me it was missing the belly plate and battery cover, the timing belt was almost at twice it's expected lifetime, and the brakes were at only 60%. The dealership had submitted a report to carfax saying that they had replaced the brake pads. This was obviously false. The car must crank for about 60 seconds before starting, although it started right up at the dealership. When I changed the oil, it was pure BLACK, and the filter was stiff with age. This car was NOT in excellent condition, and they performed NO work on it. They had pushed hard to sell me a warranty, which I accepted. They called me back in the next weekend for some more paperwork "for the banks." I had to drive 50 miles and wait another hour just to find that they could not sell me the warranty after all, and we had to choose a different financing company. They did try to sell me another warranty that cost twice as much for half the coverage, and required a deposit up front. So now I have no warranty. Additionally, I got several rejection letters from banks concerning the financing of the car, and all of them had my last name misspelled. Sure enough, when the agreement details arrived from the one bank that did accept, my last name was misspelled. Do not purchase from this dealership. They are unscrupulous and conniving. They will lie to you, inflate the price, and pull shady financing switches in order to squeeze even more money from you. More
They sold me a car that didn't exist. I came in to purchase a new 2011 car, that I was promised was available to me. Put my deposit down, completed the financing, and shook hands. The next day I recei purchase a new 2011 car, that I was promised was available to me. Put my deposit down, completed the financing, and shook hands. The next day I received a call from the sales manager (Mike L.), saying that the car I purchased was in fact spoken for. I could, however, take a model with the same specs that's available for purchase in southern California - "but it would arrive to you WITH 400 MILES ON IT because we would have to DRIVE IT TO OUR DEALERSHIP." Same price. That would mean a brand-new used car. Or I could wait 3 months after ordering one. They tried to get me to buy other models on the lot as well. Shipping it to me was out of the question, says the "manager" on the phone, since I got such a "good price" when I purchased. I'm of the belief that the dealer should handle their mistake – such as the mistake of selling me a car that they had no right to. Never an apology from anyone involved at any time. A follow-up apology from the salesman I originally worked with (Dave D.) would have been nice - or at least a reply to the email I sent him saying that the deal he set up went sour. That afternoon I wrote an email to the GM of the dealership about this entire experience, but no reply after two days. Gross mistreatment of the consumer. Be advised. More
