We let him know the check engine light came on when we went for the test drive like we had told Blake and Blake said it would be figured out If we wanted to buy the vehicle which was fine. But when we told Russ he proceeded to say it was?? But It turned off in a few minutes right? We responded with saying no it was still on our whole test drive and even when we got back to the lot. Overall we just felt like Russ was being rude, pushy, and disrespectful. If we were able to continue working with Blake the deal could of possibly been made but no after how we were treated from Russ. We were told we were young and it kinda was made out to make us feel like we didn't know anything and to us that's not how you act if you want to sell a car. And from the standpoint of Russ saying he's looked the car over but he didn't Even know of the issues we told him about. We felt he also was throwing Blake under the buss. Overall we probably won't be going back there, and that's unfortunate. There's more to this story but I'll leave it as it is. Just wanted to express how I felt in the situation. Blake's customer service was amazing, Russ's customer service pushes customers away.. More
Great Customer Service We bought a used vehicle and an extended warranty from Foothills. We brought it into the Service Department nearly a year later for Warranty work. T We bought a used vehicle and an extended warranty from Foothills. We brought it into the Service Department nearly a year later for Warranty work. The Warranty Company didn't want to cover the repairs in their misleading coverage brochure. The Service Department appealed to the Warranty Company on our behalf and then presented us with a solution that treated us fairly. They could have told us to pound sand, but instead they went above and beyond to help us, a rarity in this day and age! More

I'll start off with saying the service department at this dealership is excellent!! I have never dealt with a service department that was so great! I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in 2005. It dealership is excellent!! I have never dealt with a service department that was so great! I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in 2005. It was the worse sales experience I have ever had. The British finance manager was pushy and arrogant. I heard an advertisement on the radio for 6 months of free gas with the purchase of a vehicle. I decided to stop in and look at some cars. I test drove a couple cars and decided on a 2003 Mazda Protege. The sales person told me the vehicle had anti-lock brakes, a 6 disc CD changer and other features. After I purchased the car, I was told the down payment I made was not enough to qualify for the free gas offer. Then I discovered no CD changer. This really was not that big of a deal to me, I just figured this was how it is when you buy a car. The first winter I slid on ice and found the car did not have anti-lock brakes. I returned to the dealer and asked about this. The lady I spoke to said the sales person indicated the car did have these features. I asked her what could be done and she said 'well it's just too expensive for us to honor this'. So I have been stuck paying for this car I wouldn't have agreed to buying and I really don't know what to do. I'll never buy another car from this dealer or recommend anyone I know to do business with this dealership. More
We were visiting Spokane from the Seattle area and stopped in to do some window shopping. Although not really in the market for a new car we were impressed with the auto sales going on. Scott showed stopped in to do some window shopping. Although not really in the market for a new car we were impressed with the auto sales going on. Scott showed us around as well as took us out to test drive two cars. We decided on the spot to purchase but due to the fact that we did not have our trade with us, the logistics just were not there to complete the deal. I feel somwhat guilty of not at least offering Foothills one last chance to match the trade-in but hard to do for a car they had never seen. I would have driven the 270 plus miles to make the purchase with this dealership and Scott due to how impressed my wife and I were with them. If you are in the market for a Mazda product, please go to Foothills and if possible ask for Scott. More
Everything was fine, the sales man was very helpful, nice and friendly. THEN we were brought inside to talk numbers. I was adamant about using our own bank and financing ourselves. We were passed over to wha and friendly. THEN we were brought inside to talk numbers. I was adamant about using our own bank and financing ourselves. We were passed over to what I believe was a "closer" who was VERY pushy with the in house financing. I think I must have told him at least 4 times that we were going to go through our own bank ourselves. He was really, really pushy and skeezy (he kept calling me darlin' and hon', unprofessional in my book). And this is where it gets good... "I say what are you going to give me for my trade-in" ('89 vw vanagon) he says, and I swear it on my grandmother's grave, my ears DID NOT decieve me, he says "$2,500." I say "$2,500?" He laughs and says "No, no I said $500, is $2,500 what you wanted me to say dear?" I say "Do I need to clean my ears out?" and I look at my husband who also distinctly heard the $2,500. At this point we are all laughing, because it's so unbelievably appalling, and I can't seem to wrap my mind around what exactly he is playing at. So that's it I'm done with the game (I didn't have much paitience for it to begin with:P) I name my price which is low and he comes back and says sorry we can't do that, we leave. Oh and I forgot to mention he bad mouthed his salesman and as we were leaving was having a laugh with his co-worker at my expense! Unfortunately, I can't remember the "closers" name and probably for obvious reasons they list none of their employees on the website. But that aside, I can't begin to express how dissatified I am at the level of customer service I recieved. Unprofessional and pushy and the obvious lie?? More
