We had been searching for a used vehicle and driven cars at several different dealers, including this one, to determine what we wanted. We were getting a quote on two vehicles that interested us at another at several different dealers, including this one, to determine what we wanted. We were getting a quote on two vehicles that interested us at another local dealer. It was a very bad experience, again. We were titling and plating the vehicle in another state. They tacked on a lot of unnecessary fees and wouldn't negotiate on them. We wanted to look a vehicle at Ford of Lafayette before making a final decision anyway. We went directly over to drive the vehicle and closed the deal within 1 hour. They were willing to negotiate the price and the fees for titling and plating in the other state were not nearly as bad as the other dealer. The salesman at the other place was very nice, but the finance people were awful. The people here were friendly and accommodating. In fact, we'd purchased a new vehicle through one of them many years before. Thanks so much Gage, Andrew, Ted, and Kaymen! More

I own 3 Ford vehicles purchased outside of IN. My daughter goes to college in IN and we took her car in to fix a repair done at our home Ford Dealership. After telling us that it was 100% covere My daughter goes to college in IN and we took her car in to fix a repair done at our home Ford Dealership. After telling us that it was 100% covered they came back the next day and stated that Ford was denying the warranty work because it was 50/50 on whether or not this was a defective part, human error or caused by alternator going out. Therefore, they would repair but we would have to pay. I contacted our home Dealership and was informed this should be covered under service contract w/a simple deductible pmt and any Ford will (should) honor. This dealership did not offer this option or want to do the warranty work. (which baffled my home dealership) BUT our home dealership is towing the car at THEIR expense to repair and then having it driven back to IN (from IL) to my daughter. Now that is 5-star service! To top this poor experience off I receive a text stating that I need to pay $241 dollars for an hour of their diagnostic time. Are you JOKING?? This is the reason for my speaking up. Ford of Lafayette Service is not about the customer / owner, but about the money. So glad my daughter has our home Dealership looking out for her and doing what is best to keep her safe in her Ford and providing outstanding customer service. Ford of Lafayette Service should take a lesson from them! More

Fantastic experience! We were met at the door as we walked in to the showroom by Garon Hanke, an unusual event at numerous other dealerships in the Central Indiana region! We are an elderly couple, married 53 years and as my wife started explaining what new car she was wanting to buy Garon took us into his office to be more comfortable! I got a cup of coffee and sat down as she continued her explanation of purchasing a car to Garon. He listened carefully and when she was finished he explained her options with no pressure or trying to get her into something else that she didn't want. We appreciated that! We tested a new Ford Escape Titanium AWD with the Panoramic Vista Roof and factory towing system in a Star White Metallic Tri-Coat paint, and absolutely loved it! We traded in her 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE with 11,000 miles on it. They gave us almost full price for her car, along with a couple rebates and discounts on the Escape we were buying. Ted Lynch worked with Garon in Garon's office with us. No waiting while the salesperson ran back and forth trying to see how bad they could rip us off! One time, right in front of us they covered the purchase agreement. We looked at the first paperwork and knew it was a good deal and as they serviced the vehicle we went to Mr. Carithers office and he explained our finance options, maintenance and warranty options, including tire and wheel protection and the Ford Credit plan was excellent so we purchased the new vehicle to replace the one year old Toyota Camry Hybrid we had that my wife was thrilled to be able to get rid of it! We had previously purchased 3 Ford Fusion Hybrids 2012, 2015, and 2018 with Ford stopping to build the Fusion Hybrid so my wife decided to try the Toyota Camry Hybrid, that was a decision she regretted the first time she took it on a road trip on the expressway. It was blown around like a tin can every time a semi went by or a gust of wind hit us. We finished the easiest purchase with a trade in that we have ever had in our 53 years of marriage! The trip home to Frankfort was pleasantly completed with no regrets! Overall a perfect experience in buying a vehicle! Thank you Garon, Ted, and Mr. Carithers! More
