I love Ford of Galesburg. I’ve been to other Ford dealerships and haven’t received the level of customer service that Galesburg has always offered me. I was disappointed with I’ve been to other Ford dealerships and haven’t received the level of customer service that Galesburg has always offered me. I was disappointed with my last few appointments because there was a breakdown in communication. I wasn’t told that my recall wasn’t completed when I went to pick up my vehicle. I came back the following week to then complete the recall expecting to have my vehicle back by a certain time but it was kept longer, I understand things don’t always follow an exact timeline but an update would have been nice so I could’ve made different plans. I am very grateful for the office staff catching a credit that was owed to me and calling me that day to get it straightened out. More

Ford of Galesburg took advantage of an older woman by selling my wife a set of lug nuts for nearly $200. Mind you, these were to replace defective Ford lugnuts that are notorious for swelling and break selling my wife a set of lug nuts for nearly $200. Mind you, these were to replace defective Ford lugnuts that are notorious for swelling and breaking. It's bad enough to have to pay to replace a defective product, but when you charge 10X what the price is on online, that is out and out thievery. Yes, it is true that they asked her before they sold them, but she is a trusting soul and believed that this dealership had her best interests at heart, rather than seeking to price-gouge her. It's sad that businesses operate this way. Live and learn, I guess. Well, it will cost you in the long run, because you just lost a customer. BTW, I spoke with a competitor shop in town who could've sold her lug nuts for $60 for the set. I'm not going to ding the service rep since I am sure she was just doing her job, and my wife said the employees were pleasant. It's more of negative review on dealership management and Ford Motor company policies. More
